I cannot believe the level of disrespect I received from this company. I will be unable to give a better review because I was told I can't afford them. I have many things that need to be addressed on the property and thought this company could help me. Don't bother contacting this outfit. I'll post photos of the finished product from work phone in another review. -Chris

Trustworthy, high quality work and follow-up. We used Kiefer Landscaping (with Matt leading) for our custom home build in North Durham. We wanted to rely heavily on natives and naturalistic landscaping. We've loved going to their nursery for years, admiring its design and selection, so we were excited to include Kiefer in our bid process for all our landscaping at our wooded home. Our project is not a "straight forward" project by any means. Additionally, we built during Covid. Matt and the team at Kiefer did a bunch of design work up front that helped us immensely in visualizing the space and they executed at a high level of quality. They went above and beyond in their work on grading and fixing up some areas of the land that had been left badly from initial clearing/grading and came back several times to ensure the work held up -- especially in our garden area. They are honest and live up to their word about fixing issues. Matt has been available whenever we aren't sure if a plant is dying and in helping us figure out how to care for new sod. Construction and landscaping is a people business. Its messy and tough to predict. You need partners who are professional, responsive, and stand by their work even after they are paid. Kiefer is all that and more. You should definitely work with them.

Just picked up a beautiful Picea Orientalis Gowdy on sale for 40% off. Tremendous value, magnificent plant! It was a challenge getting in my vehicle, but they used their smarts and backed up the flatbed to the opening of my SUV and slid it in. Brilliant! So glad I found this place. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. I can't wait to plan the rest of the garden so I can come back to shop. BTW, I found a garden statue online and put it in my shopping cart elsewhere. I saw that statue for less here!
