Last summer I began a major bath renovation. It's kind of overwhelming at first with all of the tile choices, designs, price points, etc.!! I visited many tile stores but found this store with best selection of "Modern" style which seemed scarce at most locations. Jan was patient and provided many insights on what to consider. Her full size vignettes are also a big help in "imaging" the installation. I bought my floor and backsplash (just arrived!) here and am very happy with quality, price and shipping times. This will be my first stop for all future tile projects!

Jan has an artist's eye and made suggestions we may not otherwise have considered. Our primary bathroom remodeling outcome has been beyond spectacular (a word I rarely use). Our installer from another city said the quality of our tile made his cutting job easy and extremely accurate. I wish I could give six stars - yes, that good!

If you can get an appointment…. This may be an excellent place to buy tile, but I’ll never know because they wouldn’t see me. My friend wanted a tub removed and replaced with shower. She had purchased tile from this store years priors so I decided to try them after not being able to find anything close in style at the other stores. First, I drove up with trailer in tow only to find a sign on the door, “by appointment only”. Try turning a trailer around in their parking lot. So I called the number on the sign Monday morning while I the lot but now answer. I received a return call that evening at 4pm. Jan asked me to email pictures of the tile in question so she could pick out some options. I was working so I had to do so late that evening, expecting a reply in the morning. Tuesday around 4pm again, I finally got a response that she didn’t remember me and asked if I could refresh her memory. So I once again responded late in the evening because, you know, I’m working on this bathroom. Next Monday evening, six days later, I get a response. I asked if I could come in the morning because I would be installing tile today. She actually responded to my email before 4pm this morning and said, “I’m sorry we weren’t able to assist you quick enough”. I worked in the service industry for a decade and hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was impossible for me to purchase from. One week is not quick. If you really want to use this place I would suggest starting a month ahead of your project.

Jan and her team were terrific to work with. From the start of our planning through the decision making and the execution. She was engaging about what our specific styles were and provided feedback and guidance as to what options would line up with our taste. Now that our projects are complete, it is clear, she was right on the money. From helping us decide what backsplash and floor tile to choose, to a timely turnaround on quotes-we could not have been happier. Priced well within reason. Aaron was pleasant, thorough, on-time, clean and busted his hump for the week of the projects. He also worked within a difficult timeline that we had presented. We couldn't be happier with the end results and would certainly recommend to anyone who is looking to complete a project. We would certainly use again in the future. She took mine and my husband’s individual thoughts and ideas to create a beautiful design plan that we were both happy with. Jan is extremely knowledgeable, patient, friendly and the ultimate professional. She provided many tile options within the budget created. She assisted in choosing paint colors for the bathrooms as well as the whole house scheme colors. Aaron did a fantastic job laying the tile. He was professional, polite, kept the work area neat and clean and asked for input when needed about what we wanted. The quality of his work is outstanding. I am so happy with my new bathroom. Cant wait to work with Jan and Aaron on the master bath remodel next month.

We started a whole house remodel a few months ago. I was overwhelmed with the thought of getting this done. We wanted the look to be very current, yet timeless. When we built the house 20 years ago, things were so different and there was much less to choose from. I cannot begin to express my appreciation to JAN AT GREENSBORO TILE AND STONE. She was a wealth of information and is a phenomenal designer. She was able to take my rambling ideas and likes and immediately create a design I loved. She would pull together several choices for me and never, not once, were there choices that I did not like. It was just deciding which one I liked the most. Jan has an uncanny ability to understand what you will like based on talking with you. We ended up remodeling 3 bathrooms with her and a kitchen. She was able to go from a sophisticated, classic current look for our guest bath to luxury spa like look for the master bath to a 3rd seldom used budget bath. Yes, she can do it all! Also, she gave my kitchen the WOW appeal I so wanted. Beyond tile, Jan was able to give me her thoughts on what cabinet style and light fixture style would work best with my tile choices. It was wonderful to be able to run this by her and have an opinion from a designer. I can’t say enough about how very much Jan helped me with this remodel!
