H&M does beautiful, durable work that will last a lifetime. Every time we enter or leave our home, we get the pleasure of seeing—and hearing—their craftsmanship. The hardwood door they built feels as solid as steel and clicks satisfyingly tight when pulled closed. Further, the customer service John delivered was just as noteworthy as the quality of the door. He always arrived on schedule and personally communicated throughout the building process; sending pictures of each stage without being asked to do so. John stayed at it until the final screw was turned and we had the door we’ve wanted forever. It will adorn our house as long as we live here and beyond. I highly recommend H & M and look forward to working with them again.

Everyone at H and M was amazing to work with. John Daniel and I worked together to design custom bookcases, cabinet fronts and a mantle for our renovation. The craftsmen are true artist with a great attention to detail which can be seen in the pieces they made for us and we could not be happier!!!

I recently contacted John Daniels at H& M Woodworks regarding a restoration project involving a small 18th Century North Carolina house. I needed some period appropriate window sash and an exterior door. John and his fine team of artisans built for me just what I needed, and I could not be more pleased. His company is very professional, courteous, honest, and produce work of the highest caliber. In a world where so many manufactured goods are of a seeming "planned obsolescence" destined for the land fill, it is so refreshing to know of a local company in a small town, IN AMERICA, that produces world class woodwork that is beautiful, durable, and affordable. My highest recommendations go to John and his great team for anyone seeking quality woodwork, whatever that might be. As John told me, "if you can imagine it, we can build it,"

I went to H & M Woodworks for a custom piece i wanted done for a classic truck restoration project i was working on. I talked to John about a custom wooden tailgate for a 1953 international pickup. After a consultation with John i decided to give him a blank canvas or a free reign on the design.. He absolutely knocked it out of the park. From choosing IPE wood, the shape of the tailgate and the super custom CNC work.. It was perfect! John and his team are awesome! They are true craftsman of their field. :o) I look forward to definitely working with them again.

H&M Woodworks designed and installed an 1800’s Shaker Style country kitchen for my home. John came up with a custom solid maple inset shaker style cabinetry system that is absolutely gorgeous. The custom finish is flawless and the soft close hardware adds a very high end classy touch. John was very helpful in providing the guidance this consumer needed to get me over the finish line with my project. John helped with the planning, design and installation of the entire package and I have followed up with John several times after the initial project for additional home add-ons. Every time, John is always happy to provide the same level of professionalism and guidance. Big box stores could never provide this level of service and could only learn from this American owned company of real craftsmen.
