Overall

We have been working with Dal Tile in Mooresville for 12+ years. They supplies all of our setting materials and a large portion of our tile. Even though they are extremely busy in their daily routine, Rick and Mark have always been extremely accommodating to our business. Can't even begin to write down all of the situations where they have bent over backwards and jumped through hoops for us. Glad they are a part of our local community. They make life so much easier for our shop.

I made an appointment for a consultation with Daltile in Mooresville for a home project. The definition of consultation: “a meeting with an expert or professional….in order to seek advice.” I arrived on time. When I entered she asked if I was her appointment. She did not bother to introduce herself and proceeded to ask for my name and contact information and the contractor I am working with. Once that was accomplished I told her what my project was, she gave a wincing sound. There were more to come. It’s a second floor outdoor patio. Those patios are problematic but they exist. So I know I am not the only homeowner that has a second floor patio. I pulled out my phone to show pictures. Her body language, didn’t bother to lean in a little, indicated she was not interested. The house brick facade is pinkish which can be difficult to work with, another wince. Hence why I wanted a consultation? I told her the color scheme I was looking for and the rationale for that color scheme. This time an audible sigh. She didn’t enlighten me as to why the color scheme I’m thinking about would be bad or good as in “consulting”. If she had misgivings, that is why I wanted a “consultation” that is offered on their website. She just proceeded to show a few samples with a tone in her voice that dismissive. When I picked out a few samples she said they don’t carry the color any longer because “no one wants those colors” dripping with condescension. This ended with her telling me they don't have tiles in the colors I wanted advice about, despite my checking on Daltile website which showed pages and pages of tiles in the color range i was looking. I wish I had gotten her name. I have a kitchen and bath that also needs new counters and flooring. Won’t be going back. I have no illusions that losing my business will effect Daltile’s profit margin but I did see a few bad reviews for this establishment and wanted to add my experience. I will be sharing my experience with other homeowners on our neighborhood FB page.

Love daletile from their Grout to Their Tile. The home designer they have there is awesome and the staff that sells grout are amazing too! Friendly and helpful staff. I have had nothing but great experiences there and would recommend them to anyone that need tile or grout in the mooresville area

Appointments are required for one on one consult. I did not have an appointment but informed that it was ok to talk a look around. The sales lady was helping someone when I walked in. The designer made it so easy for me. I told her what I liked and she put something beautiful together for me. I simply love my shower/bathroom!

They don't return phone calls. Then from frustration you come to the showroom and they are annoyed. They don't acknowledge you and ignore you. . Today I showed up regarding a technical questionn because they would not answer my calls. There were three employees sitting at a desk. There were no customers there (not surprising). I ask one of the gentleman if he could help me. He didn't look up from his desk. He was working on sorting post cards to mail out. He would not acknowledge me. When I became very frustrated, he actually ask me what I wanted without making eye contact. I started to walk out and he very frustratingly said ok , what is it!!

I won't use them again. They must have no leadership. I've spent years in sale selling flooring. They have great product, but no service. Very sad situation. Go somewhere else where they appreciate your business

We were a little apprehensive about coming here after reading these reviews. But, we made an appointment last week and drove from Statesville and met with Jessica this morning. She was amazing. She spent 2 hours with us showing us different products and making suggestions. She was absolutely wonderful and I am so glad we came! We were able to pick out tile for our entire house this morning and feel great about our choices. Thank you Jessica!!!

HORRIBLE!! I don't usually leave negative feedback but I am so appalled by the customer service here. I called before I decided to make the hour long trip for me to get there with a NEWBORN, just to arrive and be told that nobody could help me. I was told that the only person who can help me was gone for the day and it was 12:00. When I said I called an hour ago before I drove here they pretty much said oh well. By far the worst customer service experience in my life and a complete waste of time!
