Clay did a variety of items at my house, but did an excellent job repairing my tall interior barn doors. It was fairly complicated and he provided all of the necessary adjustments. Clay is a friendly professional who certainly can figure out problems! I highly recommend him without reservation.
We had Carl as our tech, he was prompt, thorough, and proficient. His work has saved us money, and is top notch.
Dineen was also flawless in her communication, and scheduling; having dealt with our specific time frames and early alerts.

Carl and crew did a great job on my bathroom remodel! They worked very hard and got the job done in a week. Showed up everyday on time. Great communication. I love my new bathroom!!

I recently hired Ace Handyman Services Lake Norman to convert my loft into a room by adding a wall and installing a door, and overall, I am pleased with their professionalism and commitment to addressing my concerns.
The handy man demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout the project. He was responsive and willing to find solutions to any concerns that arose, as well as the project manager, which I greatly appreciated.
However, after a week of completion, I have noticed a few imperfections in the work. The tape line at the top of the ceiling where the new wall was added is now visibly showing, which detracts from the overall finish. Additionally, the bottom of the installed door is about a half-inch higher off the floor compared to my other doors, and there are visible staples sticking out from the door frame.
Despite these minor issues, I am still considering using Ace Handyman Services Lake Norman again for future projects due to their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.
I recommend Ace Handyman Services Lake Norman for their excellent service and willingness to address concerns promptly. I believe they have the potential to deliver outstanding results with improved attention to detail.

I engaged a contractor for a door installation to access my attic, initially drawn by their exceptional customer service and simple booking process. While the contractor was personable and maintained good communication, the execution of the work fell short of expectations, especially when considering the price.
Before deciding, I had obtained multiple quotes from various contractors, all suggesting that the job should take approximately 4 hours and cost around $800. However, this project ended up stretching to 6 hours, with the final cost exceeding $1000. This overrun seemed to stem from the contractor's difficulty with the task, evident from the need to repeatedly cut and recut the door, which still resulted in a subpar finish.
The significant deviation from the estimated time and cost leads me to believe that the job's challenges were likely due to the contractor's lack of skill. Despite the contractor's friendly demeanor, the disparity between the high-quality customer service during the booking phase and the poor craftsmanship of the actual work was stark. Ultimately, the outcome was unsatisfactory, and the work did not justify the extended time and increased expense.
