I had the pleasure of meeting Damon, the owner of this beautiful, one-of-a-kind business, with my friend who was looking to build a table. He is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that goes beyond wood working. He is very genuine, intentional and helpful! The furniture they build is a work of art, tailored to each customer and of the highest quality! The experience and customer service they provide there exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Damon and his team for any wood working needs!

Such an amazing experience!! I went in to find some wood to make a table for my art classroom. I was greeted by Damon, who is the founder and owner of Carolina Urban Lumber. From the second I met him, he was very genuine, kind, knowledgeable and also a great listener.. this all led to amazing suggestions for my project! He walked me around their shop and showed me all the different options explaining everything in detail. All their work is top-notch. I could also feel the positive/happy energy in the shop from the employees who were working. Lots of smiles, both employees and customers. The next day I came back with my friend and had an even better experience- Damon spent lots of time with us showing us the process of joining, planing and sanding three pieces of wood to build a table. He was so patient and thorough! We then walked out of the building with not only a forever long beautiful table but also more knowledge and skill of woodworking. This is a one of a kind business and super rare. Highly recommend!!!!!

Where do I start. Damon and his crew are amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, focused on creating amazing artwork, as well as timely. I have purchased upwards now of 10 tables from Carolina urban lumber and we are never disappointed. These guys absolutely rock. 10/10 would recommend them!

I had the guys make me 2 barn doors. They were nothing but nice and helpful. For someone who doesn’t do many projects around the house they made the whole process easy. Final result was stunning. They glued together, cut, and sanded beautiful pieces of ash for me and texted me throughout the process to ensure I was happy with the wood choices. Can’t say enough.
