We’ve been long time customers of Cape Fear Heating and Air so it seemed fitting to have them replace one of our AC units as well as furnace. Josh did a fantastic job of evaluating our needs and presented several options. The installers were out the very next day. They worked efficiently and were both courteous to us and respectful of our home. We’re very pleased with the entire process and and highly recommend Cape Fear Heating and Air.

I highly recommend Cape Fear Air, Electrical, & Plumbing! They really take care of their customers and make sure the job is done right! My compressor went out and had to be replaced. The technician, Rodney, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and also a very nice guy! He made sure that my system was back up and running perfectly! Now I am cool again!! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. Plus of the five companies that gave us a quote he is the only one to follow up with emails. Installation was a breeze all completed in one day. Be very careful before you hire this company. They installed a defective hvac into my home, or improperly installed it, or both, and refused to work w me for exchange. I even offered them more money. Unit was un-installed by another company and everything is fine w second unit. I asked Cape Fear to come pick up their defective unit and they ignored my request. I then had to rent a truck for return. Do not use this company, they will turn their back on you when you need them most. During the install they also unhooked the Duke Energy saver control and they didn't bother to ask if I wanted it reconnected or not. Seems like that should have been a choice. They just left it sitting there with open wires. You would think they could of at least taped them off or something. This review will become much longer in the near future to further explain how unreal this whole situation has been. Sad, because they actually caused this whole thing to spiral.

We needed emergency services and the team at Cape Fear Air was wonderful in a stressful time. I was surprised and pleased from the start when I got to talk to a friendly intake specialist right away even though it was after 7pm. Then our technician Bobby Cole called and said he would be over in less than 30 minutes! He was amazing and thorough while being efficient. He got us back up and running and we will highly recommend Bobby and the Cape Fear Air team to anyone in need of HVAC repair!!!

Bobby completed the annual inspection today and he did a great job. t Today Chris and another plumber came right on time as promised and did a great job repairing two faucets and mixing valve problems. They have been great since first contact after being referred through Duke Energy. We needed a new water heater and were looking to upgrade to the heat pump water heaters. They came out and gave a free estimate for both the HPWH and a traditional like for like replacement. They walked me through everything they planned and didn’t push to make a decision right then. When they came back to do the work everyone was professional and did great work. Price was in line with estimate exactly. They’ve also been very responsive to questions. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Special shoutout to Kieth who was lead on our project.
