We went with Homecraft due to it being a trusted local company. We could not be happier with the entire experience. Shaun is very knowledgeable and works to explain every detail, from the structure of each window to the installation. The windows came in fairly quickly, and they called us to fit in early due to a cancellation. The installers were here right on time and quickly went to work. They covered the floors and cleaned up after themselves. They answered questions and were very personable. The detail they put into the installation of each window is amazing, from leveling each and checking to ensure the operation to the craftsmanship of the aluminum casings. The windows are sealed so we can no longer hear cars that drive by the house. We could only get half the windows done this time, but they look so great I cannot wait to finish the house. I recommend this company to anyone looking to get windows and doors on their home—absolutely the best possible experience from start to finish.

We purchased the upgraded Interstate Windows and a sliding door in 2019 for the entire house. The salesman and demo were great, and the installation was very good. I felt confident with the quality of these windows at the time of purchase since their website states: Years of guaranteed comfort, energy savings, and lasting beauty will be your new reality. It all comes with our HomeCraft Lifetime Warranty from your premier local window installation company!
My lower rating is due to the quality of product they sell, as I've had almost $2500 worth of damaged windows over the years that unfortunately did not fall under the warranty as determined by Interstate Windows. One of the damaged replacements sticks and does not open and close as well as the originals and we were told we need to make sure we clean the tracks every time we cut the lawn to ensure they open and close smoothly. Be sure to ask for the window cleaning guidelines before you purchase so you are fully aware of them, and I have attached a photo of them as an FYI.
Please be advised that if there is an issue with the windows it falls under the window warranty through the window manufacturer, Interstate Windows, and Homecraft Windows has to make a claim against Interstate Windows if you believe there is an issue with the windows.

Hi, I just had a session with Shaun Annis for new windows. He was very professional easy conversation, friendly and patient. My looks and personality are very uneasy to read but he continued to press forward with the presentation. His knowledge and professionalism made this an easy sale for me. I look forward to receiving my new windows in a couple of months and will gladly refer thiscompany to family and friends. Oh and his counterpart David was bright eyes and bushy tailed with a 9:00 am convesation, I was pleased with his early greeting and sales pitch for being so eager and thrilled to show me some windows. Looking forward to working with these gentleman.

After weeks of research and quotes, I decided to purchase from Homecraft and I am overall extremely pleased with the product.
Salesman Rating: If I were to rate my experience with Shaun, I would rate him a 5 out of 5. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase, worked with me to stay within budget, came back after they were installed, and showed me the insulation savings versus my very old windows. I would highly recommend speaking to him about purchasing windows from this company.
Installers: If I were to rate my experience with installation, I would rate it a 5 out of 5 as well. Kelsey and his partner were very fast and efficient. They installed 40+ windows and were very professional with their installation. Although there was a hiccup with ordering three wrong windows and installing the wrong color trim, Michael, the owner, made sure to correct the issue at no additional cost.
Scheduler and Timing: Lastly, my experience with scheduling was almost a reason I gave a lower star. I would rate it a 3 out of 5 stars. Timing is very important to me since I'm self-employed so when they schedule a time and day, I move my work appointments until later in the afternoon. They would schedule it for 8 am and not arrive until 9:30 am which would mess up my timing for my work. I did let them know about it, but the timing was the same and never changed. Apart from that the 3 windows that they ordered the wrong size had to be installed a month later, and we scheduled the appointment. A day before our scheduled appointment, they called me and let me know they had to move my date, but I said I couldn't move it. The lady on the phone wasn't very pleased and hung up on me. Michael used another installer to finish the windows and made sure to keep the same date, which I was thankful for.
Overall, the window quality is definitely what was advertised, Shaun, Michael, and the installers made the purchase very easy, and I was very happy. I would highly recommend Homecraft.

Shopping to replace our windows... Shaun Annis came to our house and was very informative and helpful so made our decision easy. Looking forward to our new windows!

We hired HomeCraft to install 3 windows and an entry door in our Chapel Hill condo. Upon arrival of the doors and windows, I realized we had rot around all three windows so we delayed the window install until structual repairs could be made. Tony and his crew did install the entry door. After tearing out the existing door we realized there was foundation settlement on one side of the door opening. Tony had extensive experience in residential framing and knew exactly how to make the needed adjustments. The door was beautifully installed with a consistent reveal between the door and frame. Tonys crew was polite and kept the jobsite clean at all times. I highly recommend HomeCraft for your door and window needs. I will update the review once the windows are installed.
