Very informative & was a lot of help, plus super friendly! Definitely going back.

Just spent $300 on a flocked tree. Drove a few minutes home, under the speed limit and it's ruined. I am so disappointed. Was wrapped horribly, had to stop twice to fix the wrapping. Now I have an over priced green tree.

What a great place full of wonderful people. They are always helpful, like if they don't got it they will call around and ask. They really gave me a great deal on my purchase. Definitely recommend.

Prices are a scam! I went to cashman's shopping for evergreens for a tree row. The first day I stopped in for information. I was told that The potted evergreens at a one gallon size that are about a foot tall were 14.95 each and that they would be on sale within the next few weeks for $10 each. I came back a week later and they were somewhere in between but not at the full sale price. I paid $12.71 each. The following week I came back for the to buy 20 to 30 of them and the prices had doubled. They were marked at 27.95 but they were running a buy one get one sale. They literally doubled their prices that way they could say that they "slashed their prices on evergreens". I spoke to several people about this and was met with hostility and I asked to speak to a manager. They were not on site. I left my phone number. They have not called me back. This is false advertising and deceptive. Their excuse was that they had been mispriced and they changed the prices a month ago but I had been there twice in the last 2 weeks and that was also a lie. As well as having a handwritten note from one of the family members telling me what the price should be. Bottom line, please expect to be scammed and if possible choose a different nursery.

We went to a Christmas tree branch arrangement class. When you walk into the classroom, you are greeted by the Cashman family. A plate of grandma Cashman’s fantastic homemade cookies are there to help get you into the Christmas spirit. The whole family loved it. Class cost included planter, soil, branches, and a ribbon for decoration. Lots of other decorations available for purchase including: an array of ornaments, decorative Burch sticks, bows, and more! The class starts with an instructor giving a step-by-step demonstration while you put your own planter together. Assistants walk around for questions or to help the class make their arrangements to each person’s liking. It is a little on the pricey side, but they all turned out cute and lasted all winter on the front porch.

This past year we needed to replace most of our shrubs and decided on over 20 plants, mostly barberry but a few spirea and one burning bush. We wanted that contrasting look of closely planted barberries - concord, golden nugget, golden ruby, admiration etc. Almost everything Cashmans had but I did need to purchase a couple barberry from elsewhere and those plants soon wilted and lost most of their leaves and I ended up returning them since they hadn’t been planted yet. All the Cashman plants continued to look great and further thrived once in the ground. All shrubs were kept watered and planted with a potting soil mixture and topped with shredded mulch to help protect the roots this first year. I’m confident they’ll winter just fine. We don’t garden much anymore but over the years have bought various trees, planters, edging and miscellaneous items from Cashman’s and without any issues. We have had some problems with trees bought elsewhere - Many years ago we bought a number of large trees from Menards. They were 6’ to 8’ trees and once home I realized the main leader had been cut on all of them. I called Menards and they said their trees are shaped and cut down so they fit in their trucks. It’s not smart to cut the leader on a deciduous tree. Other branches will compete for the leader and you end up with a weak spot on the main stem that will more than likely snap years later during strong winds. All the trees we bought from Menards were returned except for a Deborah Maple which we had already planted and now, some 15 years later, I wish it had also been returned as it has about 4 leaders and they are so high up I can’t do anything about it. Every tree we ever bought from Cashmans is still looking good and doing well today. If you want good quality edging - Cashmans sells a heavy duty edging (I think it is called Edge King) and it’s way better than some of the other brands out there. Commercial grade - very durable, easy to level, and the large top ring holds mulch in very well. I recently retired from a job where I was in charge of a large facility for decades. We learned long ago that the products, the expertise, and the friendly staff at Cashman Nursery made it our go to place for anything that was needed on our grounds.

Incredibly expensive and their selection is just okay. Even though their plants are typically healthy, the prices aren't justifiable when you can go to another nursery or online and get the same thing for much cheaper. Their staff wasn't impressive either...it's the only place I've gone to where the employees stared at me while I browsed like I was intruding in a private affair. I didn't need/ask for help, but it would have felt like an imposition if I had. I have not actually purchased anything here but have looked around a couple of times. Maybe if you're willing to spend a lot of money they will up their service for you, but I don't see any reason to return.

I stopped in 5 minutes prior to their closing time and instead of being asked if I had any questions, I was greeted with 'I think we're closing now so you can come back tomorrow'.' I'm more than willing to come back for the product I was looking for at a different day/time but a more Profesional response would have been to nicely state that they close soon and maybe check to even see what I was there for. Although it was close to closing time, their hours state that they technically should not have been closed, and in that 5 minutes prior to the closing time listed all over their website and sign, they could have answered a very simple question I had but now I guess I'll never know the answer to my question because I won't be back!

I've always had good, friendly service, good advice and the products have always been well tended. They have a good selection and can order most varieties you'd care to acquire. Regular prices are average, sometimes a little steep, but they often have deals on buying combos of trees, shrubs, etc so keep an eye out for sales and deals. In addition, the grounds themselves are beautiful; visiting Cashman's feels a little like you're visiting a park.
