I had this company out last week to inspect my unit. I loved that Ron passed on knowledge so that I can do my part in keeping my unit running properly. Glad to find an honest company to keep my air running.
I would highly recommend staying away from this company. This company scheduled to come out to me, multiple times and never showed up. When they finally showed up to one of their scheduled appointments they came with no tools and no equipment and somehow diagnosed the problem was “low Freon” in a matter of minutes. They scheduled multiple times to come out and fill the Freon, with the same issue of not showing up, lack of communication and overall a general lack of professionalism. I called other local HVAC companies and I didn’t even have to mention Griffith by name just what they were doing, and each company knew who it was because unfortunately this is a reoccurring issue with them. If you want to waste your days waiting for a scheduled appointment just for them to be a no call, no show.. then this company will not disappoint.

This is a great HVAC repair company. They answered quickly and met me right away to get me the parts I was needing. On top of that they took the time to answer at least a dozen calls helping me troubleshoot a problem with the unit I was working on. Excellent customer service and the best prices around for parts!

First of all, I believe in supporting local businesses in Watford City whenever I can. The A/C unit in my home was putting out warm air, and the outside condenser unit was hot to the touch, fan not turning. Called Griffith's and they found the problem right away. They replaced the capacitor and the condenser fan motor for a very reasonable price. Had to wait a few days for the right fan motor to come from Minnesota, but then my A/C brand was obsolete, bought out by another company. I am very satisfied and very happy with Griffith Mechanical, and I will definitely call them again for my HVAC needs in the future.

They sent the estimate Tuesday, I tried to call both the office gal and the guy who initially came— Ron I believe is his name, multiple times. Tuesday evening and yesterday. She text me yesterday at 9:47am said she’d call me back and I never heard back from her or him.
So I called another company Because I have three animals in a house that has been 87° since Sunday night.
The secondary company came over right away fix the issue immediately. And Informed me that my unit was absolutely fine. He was able to replace the plug that was messed up and fill the Freon which was dang near empty. And now it’s working perfectly.
I appreciate Ron coming and taking a look at the unit but I feel that not only was their an extreme lack in communication on both he and his staff. I also found it unprofessional them trying to charge me $3000+ for a brand new a-coil & furnace unit when it was $150 fix with out vetting that there were possibly other issues.
Now, it’s Thursday afternoon and the office staff lady, Just reached out to me to see if I wanted to proceed with my new unit. When I responded that I did not want to proceed with them and explain to her why she read the message and did not reply so apparently me stating what actually happened doesn’t deserve a response. I Do not recommend them. They proved time and time again to be completely unprofessional.

It was about time I found a honest hvac guy. Rates are fair, and he cares about taking care is the customer. I paid him more than his invoice for the exceptional service!

I had an central air unit in my house that kept freezing and the air flow was restricted. Ron showed me what was wrong, fixed it, and taught me how to prevent it from happening again. He was very courteous and professional the entire time he was here, which wasn’t that long. His rates are extremely reasonable and he tried to help me save money along the way. I highly recommend Griffith Mechanical for anything HVAC/Refrigeration related.

Ron and his crew came out fast fixed my ac quick and was like part of the family the whole time here I totally recommend this company for all your Watford City hvac needs
