We left the store to buy our $10k+ order elsewhere. Keenan was no help. He started the conversation with “I am not really not into decks,” not leaving us with much confidence for our questions on our project. He proceeded to stare at his screen for ten minutes asking his manager, Scott, for basic help on using the ordering system. He said the “guys over there” might make us pay for our order up front before getting a delivery arranged. This in-person experience absolutely sucked so we just went with our original plan of ordering online.

Menards is my favorite home improvement store. I find the employees very helpful and will go out of there way to help.

Decent selection, very helpful staff, quick checkout. The parking spaces are just too tight. Otherwise, it’s a 5 star place.

If you see something on a shelf at this location don't touch unless you plan on buying it. The last 2 times I went to this location I got accused of theft by their "rent a cops" for grabbing an item and walking around the store then deciding I didn't really need it and put it back. The second time I was exchanging an item and upon bringing back the correct item that I needed I got accused of "suspicious activity" and retail theft. What a joke.

Went to Menards to help my brother out, working on a shelf. Found the shelving we were looking for, but they were all damaged. Brenden, one of the employees in shelving/storage was absolutely no help, rude right off the bat and offered no help. Wouldn’t even go look to see if there was a solution that matched our project. After blowing me off he went back to joking and hanging out, being cool to his buddies. Then lied to his management about having good ones and wasted our time because we walked back to get a good one. There were in fact none. If you’re going to pre call the manager make sure you fact check. I don’t like liars. After my first time there, I might not go back.

I needed parts to build a foam cutter for my model railroad layout. Job done. Mountain carved, base paint. (Pics)

About a year ago I bought this Cabrillo whirlpool tub. Life happens and I finally got around to installing it. Install went well until I filled it with water and it immediately started leaking from the fitting in the tub wall for the suction line to the pump. I can seal the inside of the tub, but it's a two piece flange and I have no clue how to seal it other than cut a hole on the outside to get to the pipes. This came directly from it's original box. There is no chance anyone can convince me that these units are tested before packaging. I have no way of even taking it out as they need to be grouted in. It's basically junk. Menards, great store, big fan. This tub, no bueno.

All I need is more money to spend here. Home improvements and the 11% rebate sale has me coming back for more. Sandpaper, bulk candy and dog food. What else do you need in a store?
