Emailed and then called in to talk to Doug to request information after he showed me windows in the showroom. After he ignored my email, I called him and he acknowledged he received it. Absolutely rude on the call, insulting and condescending with my questions regarding frame size. I can see why this company has negative reviews regarding their customer service.

Piss poor customer service and one window broke took them three months to fix it and now one of the locking mechanisms isn’t working and they said it’s the installers fault not their window. When the window was installed it worked perfectly fine they came out and replace the broken window that cracked in the cold on its own and then the locking mechanism stopped working. I have filed a complaint with the AG of ND so it can be posted to their BBB.

Not impressed with their customer service. We had a door installed 2 years ago a french door and have had issues with it leaking since the start. We had our home builder redo a couple things, had Minnkota out to adjust the door nothing has worked. We have had water pooling in our house with a perfect west wind with rain and I have photos and videos all the way back to 2 months after door was installed, also in winter the lock knob turns to ice and I get ice all around door on inside, have to put a door draft thing along bottom of door to keep the cold out. FINALLY 2 years later of this dragging on with reps and what not, they are not doing anything about our door just told us to get a new one 100% our responsibility. Tell you one thing it won't be a Minnkota door as they clearly do not stand behind their product! We were even going to be satisfied if they covered 50% of a new door, even though I think it should be 100%, but nope nothing!

New update: As of 10-24-22 we have so far had a total of 8 windows break since they were installed about a year ago. We have been told that we can only have one place replace the windows even though they are not the dealer we purchased the windows through. We are getting the run around from Minnkota Windows and being forced into a contract that we did not agree to, thus forcing us to pay labor to the dealer of their choice. We should be able to have anyone we want install the glass since Minnkota is not repaying for any labor. Be very leary of them, once they sell the windows they will not take your calls. My husband and I are extremely frustrated and disappointed with our Minnkota experience. We had Minnkota Windows installed about a year ago. Since then we have had five windows break and only four replaced. One of the replacements broke again, so that makes it six windows! We have called and emailed Minnkota several times. Spoke with reps, sales people and now today finally a supervisor. Every time we are told that they want to make the homeowner happy, but give us the run around as to what to do other than we'll keep sending you windows, but you have to pay for the installation. No one wants to take responsibility for the six broken windows. Our fired general contractor, Alotta Construction, installed the windows, even the four replacements. Supposedly they have received six replacement windows. We have not received the last two. No one knows where they have gone! Alotta is also a dealer for Minnkota, which Minnkota is standing behind. And to add the cherry on top, because of Alotta Construciton's installation we have a leaking Minnkota patio door.

Andy was absolutely wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend the windows and the service Service is very important.

We are very dissatisfied with the windows. These windows were ordered to replace our existing kitchen windows. It took a long time to get our order. They told us that one of the windows had been broken in the factory and needed to be remanufactured. We installed them according to standard window installation procedure. No directions were sent with the windows. Once installed, we noticed defects in workmanship. The round top window was larger on the top than the double hung window below it, therefore it bulges out and curves back in at the point where the two window meet. We also noticed that there was a gap that let air in at the side of the double hung window. We informed customer service and a person came to inspect them and told us they were installed incorrectly. She stated that we needed to put wedges on the sides of the window to hold it in. When ordering the window we gave the company the rough opening dimensions. There is no room to put wedges on the sides of the windows as the company made the window too large so that wedges cannot be installed on the sides of the windows. I had to put tape over the sides of the window to keep cold air from coming into our house this winter. We have been trying to contact the company. But they are refusing to take our calls and do not answer our phone call. Our next step will be to file a complaint with the attorney general’s office.

Windows are awesome. Shut out noise. Curtains don't move when outside wind is a blowin'. Disappointed with patio door screen not here yet and we are coming on to a year since we ordered. Otherwise I would have rated higher.

I've installed hundreds of windows, mostly the big name windows. I cant believe how nice these Minnkota windows are for money. Much more affordable, and the quality is so nice. I installed them in my own home, and cabin! The sliding glass doors are so smooth my 2 yr can open and close it! Excellent quality, durability, and customer service.
