Overall

I am always really happy when people are overtly nice - sometimes you call places like this or pluming company’s and the guys sound annoyed or uninterested. From calling and scheduling with Maddie to meeting Jason, Jesse and Corey the experience from beginning to end was wonderful- super friendly, super helpful and didn’t make me feel like an idiot because I didn’t know things. Highly, highly, highly recommended

Had them out to my home to add an electrical outlet. No problem with the work performed and even corrected a problem with my wall switches. Tech was professional and polite. Problem I have is they charge u for down time while waiting for parts to be delivered to my address. I couldn't get the office lady to understand my complaint, she must have repeated three times to me about how the tech fixed the wall switches to avoid someone getting hurt.........that wasnt the issue, the issue was charging me for downtime waiting for the supplier to bring switches and an electrical outlet to my home.......common parts that are normally with techs in their work vehicles.............

Poor service, send multiple emails about issue with the pricing of items that need service from the initial proposal but once the electrician came only half the work was done which means the pricing should went down for labor, parts and repairs and still made me paid full price. After sending multiple emails, not a single response has been answered and it’s been months. On the receipt they stated if we had any question about any issue was to email/call them.

They truly are the best in town!!!!
The owner Jason and his crews are so professional. They are doing everything that we requested perfectly. When we have question/ need help, they will show up on the same week, to get it fix for us and answer our questions very quickly.
Corey is so professional and personable. When he is assembling our fan, my 3 year old son is up close watching him. Corey is so patience and walking through everything he is doing to my son.
Not only they are professional, they also have a great business value--caring for their customers and truly is doing everything right for the customers. I would recommend them in a heart beat!!!

JK Electric has done three jobs for us now, one residential, plus a number of upgrades at our commercial building. We have been super pleased with the work done... but moreover, we greatly appreciate the excellent communication and responsiveness to our needs. They responded quickly to a critical storm damage situation. And while doing numerous repairs... well, I'm pretty picky, and the JK team made sure to do everything to my complete satisfaction... from helping us get the right fixtures, to addressing some tricky switching requirements, and right down to clean up! We purchased a Central Vacuum System for our home a couple of months ago and needed help installing the unit. I called JK to verify whether or not they knew how to install a Central Vac. The lady on the phone double checked and stated that they knew how to install a Central Vac and that they could come out the same day to get it installed. The electrician stopped out later that day, informed me he had no idea how to install a Central Vac and didn’t even know what it was and left after less than 5 minutes of being at our home.

We then had to call a different company to come install the unit.

The next month I received a bill for an hour of labor from JK Electric. I thought it had to be a mistake since they didn’t perform any services for us, so I called them back to discuss the bill. I explained to the lady on the phone what had happened, figuring she would apologize and say it was a mistake. She continued to argue with me that I needed to pay the bill and they need to charge an hour of labor for their time regardless of whether or not I verified whether they could do the job on the phone first or not.

I can understand charging me an hour of labor if they would have told me that they weren’t sure about how to install a Central Vac and they needed to come and look at it first and that I would be charged for an hour of labor, but they didn’t. I was under the impression they would be able to do the work and was happy to pay them to do the work. I was also never told I would be charged for them to just stop out to my house and tell me they couldn’t do the work. You can’t say that you know how to complete a project, then show up stating you don’t even know the first thing about how to complete the project and expect to get paid.

Completely ridiculous experience. Hopefully they make it right, I will keep everybody updated if they do. In the meantime, definitely go elsewhere for electrical work.
