Alan was very professional and truly amazing. We had Sentry Electric out to add a Ring Floodlight. While Alan was completing this, it was found that the garage door opener outlet was not up to code. We have been having issues with a new house we bought since finding out the previous owners did not hire someone and have receipts that were promised to us to ensure electrical work was done on the house. Instead, they had a "buddy" who was "licensed" complete the work, but would not provide his name. Alan saw the garage door opener outlet was not up to code, explained, in detail, why it was not up to code, and showed us the actual code under the law. We asked Alan if he would be willing to quickly review other work that was supposed to be done. Because of his honesty and willingness to do this for free (and because of an extra discount on this and future repairs) we decided to take the protection plan as well. We will have Sentry back out to complete a complete electrical inspection and I hope we get Alan again. We truly appreciate the extra mile taken free of charge to assist a new homeowner and to be able to take the time to educate so we know exactly why something needs to be done a certain way and back it up with the actual law. This is how you gain customers. If your other electricians are doing this as well, your company will be in a great position for the future. Thanks again, Alan!

We have used Sentry Electric several times and have always been very pleased with the quality of work, professionalism and pricing. Most recently Steve came to our home to work on our daughter's fairy bedroom installing some new lights and reworking outlets. The work was done quickly and cleanly and our daughter is over the moon with the results. We will be using Sentry Electric's services for all our electrical needs in the future.

I had a relatively straightforward problem with my outdoor outlets not staying on and flipping their central GFCI switch often and then eventually just not coming back on. The guys who helped me (I believe it was Steven and Reagan, apologies if I’m misspelling the names) not only got things back up and running with a new GFCI switch, but explained to me why the strange wiring in my house was likely done the way it was, how I can keep the outlets from flipping that switch so much (hint: don’t have an extension cord plugged in outside year-round where water can get in it), why GFCI switches might fail constantly after being flipped enough times, and what I could do with the outlets themselves if I ever wanted to make a more permanent change to the way they are being flipped at a central point.
Overall, I found them very knowledgeable and very efficient in how they approached my problem and am very happy with the work they did for their price.

I received terrific service today from Sentry Electric. Joshua and Wyatt were very courteous and professional. I had a dryer outlet and relay box with wiring that had gone south. They gave me an estimate, explained the work scope thoroughly and did an EXCELLENT job on the new installation!! They also completely cleaned up after the install which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend Sentry Electric and will use them again for my future needs.

Joshua Wismer was great! We very recently moved. We wanted a whole house surge protector installed and some outlets/light switches needed worked on. There are a few more things we would like and he recommended ideas for us. We have used Sentry Electric before and like the company. Joshua Wismer did a great job.

Chris and his team did an amazing job. I asked for a quote and they were extremely prompt and they said 30 minutes they be there and they were. They also allowed me to see their location so I knew the exact arrival time. We scheduled the work and was done to perfection at an affordable rate! I would highly recommend Sentry for any electrical needs!

This is the second time we have used Sentry to repair lamps. I used to just get rid of lamps that had died because I didn’t know of anyone who did these kinds of repairs. I’m so glad I discovered Sentry! I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are friendly, professional, do excellent work - and quickly!

We had an emergency with the 240v outlet for our dryer. We called Sentry Electric and they sent out Steve S. First off, I wanna say that the people at Sentry electric are excellent to work with. They were very polite, and got us in immediately. Secondly, Steve S. was so great, we could tell that he genuinely cared about our safety. He kept us informed during the entire process and was always polite. You could really tell that Steve knows his stuff. The service was 100% worth the money, I will be recommending Sentry (ask for Steve) going forward. Thank you for taking care of us!
