I was there 30 minutes after they were done. Saw hail damage on the windows they didn’t even run their fingers on it. My husband saw melted siding and windows that had seal leek. The window had leaked, they didn’t point out water damage. The deck had a lot of issues, they recommended getting a deck guy out. Wow! Just wow! Complete wast of money!! Turns out the homeowner took insurance money from hail damage on windows and didn’t disclose it. Makes all 8 windows uninsurable. I’m sick to my stomach about Home Standards Inspections!

Steve and Jesse were very thorough with their inspection. They really took the time to make sure we understood everything and it was very much appreciated as first time home buyers. Obviously they have a passion for this job and answered all of our questions in a way that makes us feel confident going forward. Printed out copies of the report with pictures as well as a digital copy made it very easy to remember everything after the walk thru. Familiarity with the neighborhood as well as experience with older homes was definitely a plus. Went with them based on positive online reviews and am glad I trusted what I read.

He put our minds at ease by completing an inspection on our new home and letting us know the couple things we should have fixed, as well as informing us about helpful maintenance/preventative issues. Can't say enough positive things about Dave. We also had an easy time setting up the appointment with Sue and the price was what was quoted. I had no idea what to look for when choosing a home inspection company, but I'm glad I guessed right by selecting Home Standards, and particularly Dave Six. Dave has a very outgoing personality and has a lot of relevant experience that he pulls from when going through the house. I'm not very practiced in construction, and Dave had no problem dumbing the conversation down to my level whenever something came up on the inspection. He was very thorough, but didn't try to scare me away from the place for a hand railing being loose or a minor leak. Not only was he thorough in his inspection, but also in his descriptions to me while I followed him around. Besides learning that my potential house was in good shape, I felt like the knowledge I gained from Dave regarding where various utilities were coming in or which features of the house would likely require future work made the inspection worth it. I highly recommend Dave at Home Standards, and I highly recommend following him during the inspection to learn more about your huge investment.
