Holy smokes! I don't know what else to say. I recently bought a cabin in the woods. Sounds great, just like in the movies. The only problem was, the Front Door was placed in the rear of the cabin AND it was a solid door that eliminated the best parts of the view. A beautiful pond sat below the cabin and it was simply not visible from inside the home. In order to see the soft rain hit the pond water, we literally had to leave our cabin and go outside to enjoy it.
I probably would have left it that way, but my wife had more sense than that. We called Pella to see if they could help us with the issue. Pella sent a gal named Debbie Ruhlman out. She immediately recognized the problem and suggested the solution we ultimately went with. Pull the door and a smaller side window and replace it with an 8' slider. This required a fair amount of work. Creating the space, installing a header, inserting the new structure and repairing the workspace to its beautiful original condition.
That's where Zac Heusinkvelt and his crew......Travis, Josh, John and a host of others from time to time, came in. At one point I had 7 people working. They were spectacular. It really was the best experience I have had with contractors and some of them even became friends.
I thought all of this might cost 20k when I started. Debbie even "threw in" a couple window screens that were broken, a new matching handle with a rekeyed lock on the other patio door, and adjusted a door that was sticking. Final cost came in at less than 8 thousand dollars. Ridiculous really. If you have struggled with the idea of repairing or upgrading, you must give these guys a shot. Pella Rocks! Dan

We had a glassblock window fail in our master bath. With guidance from our sales rep Debbie Ruhlman, we replaced with energy-efficient, obscure glass window. Debbie ensured the entire process went smoothly. Installers Jeremy and John were efficient, pleasant and careful. And they cleaned up after the job!

Walking into the Pella showroom and meeting Debbie was the first of many good experiences we’ve had with the company. Her professionalism and knowledge along with the high quality of the products had us sold on Pella.
The windows and doors we received exceeded our expectations. They arrived without issue and installation was done by a very professional crew from Pella. It transformed our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

Debbie Ruhlman was who I dealt with. Super nice and knowledgeable. Very helpful when we were deciding on windows and doors!
Ken Watson was the lead installer. We was super friendly and knowledgeable! He had been doing the install for more than 22 years. One on the windows was cracked on delivery. He explained they ordered a replacement and they would take care of it. They scheduled 4 days for the install but were done in 2 1/2 days. They cleaned up as they went along. They also cleaned the windows! The entire team was friendly and knowledgeable.
It has be a pleasure from the start of the process! My new windows, doors, and new workforce is gorgeous! I can't say enough nice things about Pella windows and doors! Thank you!
Almost forgot to mention they were on time everyday!

Pella has surpassed all of my expectations! I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
Our sales rep changed by the time our install came around. Debbie Ruhlman picked up were our previous sales rep left off and was a rockstar!
Our install crew, Watson Works, was friendly, punctual and incredibly good at what they do.
Ask for Debbie and Watson Works and you don’t be let down.

Visited with Debbie at the home show about an original Pella (1998) window with wood damage. She was very prompted in getting back with me, setting up a time to come to the house and look at the project, putting together a quote, and getting the project moving. When installation day arrived, the crew was very polite and friendly. There were very efficient in accomplishing the window replacement and a weather strip replacement on a different window. The window and trim look just like the original. We are very pleased with the results. It was great to work with the Pella team.

First contact we had with Pella was when we had a window leak - Pella's rep told us we had hail damage and he could repair the damage but we should check with our insurance agent. Sure enough we needed all of our windows replaced. That is when we met Debbie Ruhlam who came out to measure and order. The team she sent to install were top-notch as well.
Our experience was so good with the window replacements that when we built an enclosed sunroom it was a no brainer on who we wanted to install our windows! Debbie Ruhlam had great ideas and worked well with our contractor to make our dream a reality. Great quality windows and awesome customer service.

I ordered a new Pella sliding glass door, the last of our pella windows to be installed in our home. Don Fellows, the Pella Sales representative who assisted us, was very professional and guided us through the purchase process with ease. The installation team, ACS , did quality and efficient work. The team leader Adam, was personable and keep us informed as the installation progressed. *Note- during this time of quarantine- everyone who came into our home -from sales to installation- were mindful of the extra steps needed to be taken to keep all of us healthy.
