This company answered the phone right away. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone. They were able to schedule my project within a week of my phone call even though there was a holiday weekend in between. The gentlemen who came out were courteous. Informed me of each step and asked my preference regarding any challenges. The total cost was consistent with other quotes I received but the service and timeliness was much better!!!

Last week I called Chad (CK Electric) to schedule an appointment to change a three-way switch to a timer, and today David came. He did an outstanding job. He arrived earlier than expected, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the entire process. Remarkably, he completed the entire job within 30 minutes, giving me peace of mind with my outside lighting. David was also incredibly helpful in recommending a better switch than the one I had purchased from a local hardware store. The price difference was minimal, but the new switch's brand and functionality were far superior. I was grateful that he had a better switch available in his truck. CK Electric is incredibly accommodating – I had to reschedule twice, once due to my schedule conflicts and another because of a Nebraska winter storm. Justin and Chad were both not only friendly but also highly professional. Their communication system is top-notch; as soon as I schedule or reschedule, I receive a prompt text and email confirmation. It's a remarkably efficient system! Today, David and Dan, came to address my sellers’ electrical issues. They helped address issues found during the house pre-inspection. They were both friendly, courteous, and professional. They completed the entire job in just a few hours. Before starting, they patiently walked me through their process, explaining the pros and cons of the concerns. This educated my seller, enabling him to an informed decision on the best approach to fix the problem. I highly recommend CK Electric – by the way, their fees are very reasonable! A big thank you to Justin, Chad, and the crew who braved the cold to help fix electrical issues for my sellers. It was a pleasure working with your company, and I'll definitely turn to you for any future electrical concerns.

CK Electric was fantastic throughout the whole process of understanding the goals of the project, assessing the locations and providing a more than acceptable quote for the request. Scheduling was easy and accommodating. Very much appreciated the fact that when accomplishing the job, Derek and team were very considerate of a sleeping baby in the house. EDIT: Bumping review up to 5 stars. I received a call back with a sincere apology and an estimate done 2 days later, and everyone has been very responsive since. Even the best of the best make mistakes on occasion, and as long as they make a good faith effort to make it right (which I feel CK Electric has done), then they shouldn't be publicly crucified with a low rating. CK does great work overall, and I'm confident that the upcoming job that's scheduled will be executed flawlessly based on the past work they've done for me. Original: CK came out and provided good service the one time that I used them, but getting them to answer the phone or call you back is like pulling teeth. I've tried calling them many times over the last 6 months for other various electrical needs and they've never answered the phone and have never called me back when I left a message.

Dereck and his Team did a fantastic job. He came out initially to do a quick assessment and got me on the schedule right away. Did a wonderful job installing my light fixtures and creating wall electrical spots for my dinning area lighting. Very respectful, communicated well, and a great overall experience. First time using CK Electric and I would highly recommend them. I called first thing in the morning about an issue and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Chad, the owner, came out and fixed the issue quickly and professionally. Great customer service from everyone I talked to. We will definitely use them for any future needs!

Despite all the positive reviews, we unfortunately have not had a good experience with CK Electric. We are remodeling our kitchen. Our simple job turned into a larger job, and while they have been flexible with scheduling additional time to accommodate that, they have struggled to communicate with us and with each other. The first day they were scheduled, it was two guys, and they only had an hour, so they did what they could. The second time they came out, it was one guy, and he had no idea someone from the company had already started work. He had to spend time calling others to find out what was done, what the plan was, and how he should proceed. He wired everything and got it ready for us to drywall. We scheduled a third appointment for the finish work to be completed today at 8 a.m. It is now 8:59 a.m. and we have not received an email, call, text — no indication that the appointment has been cancelled or rescheduled, and no one has shown up. I tried to call the office and it appears to be closed. Schools are closed today because it is supposed to snow later, but not a single flake has fallen yet. Even if the office is closed due to the weather, the company has a responsibility to notify their customers that appointments have been cancelled for the day, and that did not happen. Photo of the current weather… Update: Justin, the office manager, emailed me after I left a voicemail and sent an email and confirmed they are indeed closed today. We received a follow-up phone call to reschedule shortly thereafter. I appreciate needing to close for inclement weather, but customers should be notified before missed appointments, not after. We also had countertop measurements and plumbing appointments scheduled this morning, and both services arrived on time and completed their work without an issue. It was just starting to snow when the plumber left around 11 a.m.
