Inspectix is shady as shady can be. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our realtor recommended them to do an inspection on the house we were buying. The inspector said “this is a great house, well taken care of” as we walked in the door for his review. He showed us that the deck posts needed to be replaced and that the gas meter was too close to the ground. He failed to find many easy to find issues. When we contacted them about the list of issues they sent out an “owner of the company” who looked at the issues, would not comment on them. Then a week later sent us a contract to sign that refunded us just the inspection cost and required us to not post bad reviews like this one (which we didn’t not sign, aka this review). We would not have bought this house if we had a proper inspection and this lesson has cost us tens of thousands of dollars. At least the next owners will get a much better house than we did.
We hired Inspectix to do our new home inspection at the advice of our realtor. They report identified a few items that we addressed with the sellers of the home. Immediately after moving in we began to notice items that were missed during the inspection such as a leaking plumbing fixture, plumbing not compliant with code, outlet and electrical fixtures that did not work, cracked gas line in the fireplace, sump pumps did not work, leaking window that had obvious staining, busted spinkler heads, rotten siding, etc. I realize there is no such thing as a perfect inspection so we began to fix these things as they popped up. At some point the list had gotten to a point that was unacceptable and I contacted Inspectix. I did not get a reply. I sent a second communication and heard back 4 months after my initial contact. Inspectix would not warrant any of the items I had fixed and either ignored the other complaints or had one reason or another why they would not warrant them. These items added up to 10's of thousands of dollars and one of the items (a cracked gas line on the fireplace) put me and my wife in significant danger. Inspectix has made no effort to try and resolve any of my concerns after repeated attempts on my end. For an $1100 inspection I would suggest finding someone that is more concerned with providing a good inspection and standing behind their work vs providing a report to get a home sold so the real estate agent uses them again.

Our company hired Inspectix for a Pre-Listing Home Inspection. They were very responsive and their price was comparable to other local home inspection companies. Received a detailed report the same day inspection was completed.

We had our home inspection yesterday with Keith and my husband and I really appreciated how kind and professional he was. Moving from out of state, it was comforting to get things off to a good start in the purchase of my new home. Next to my realtor, the Inspectix home inspector (Keith) was really exceptional. He did a thorough review of the home, took detailed notes, many photographs and prepared a very detailed report at the end. He also took considerable time in person going through the home and explaining various systems and possible areas of concern. I highly recommend Inspectix to everyone wanting to make sure you are buying a quality home.

We used Inspectix for the home inspection on our new house. Customer service was wonderful, they had us scheduled within a couple days of our request. Kevin did our inspection, he was very thorough and very professional. He clearly had a lot of background and knowledge in his field which helped us feel very confident and comfortable in our purchase of a new home. We had a great experience with Inspectix Home Inspections! My wife and I were first time home buyers and Keith really put our nerves at easy. Its hard to know what to expect going into your first home purchase, but we confident we were able to purchase a high quality home because of all that Keith did for us.
