I would beware of using this company they are the most money grubbing company I have ever come across. A couple of years back we had a problem with our generator when I called. They said they could send somebody out right away, which would cost extra money or I could wait till someone was in the area which is what I chose to do. I don’t remember exactly what it cost me now, but it was some crazy insane price Because no matter when they come out, they charge a CRAZY high amount just to pull in the driveway. The problem was simply caused by the technician not tightening the nuts and or applying lock tite after putting everything back together again and one of the nuts fell off due to the vibration And I was charged I believe it was a little over $200 for this. Every year they try getting me to sign a new service contract in July or August when my service contract is not due to start until October, which is when we purchased the generator, but being that is their busy season, they try to move peoples schedules so they aren’t servicing you then. If I’m paying for a full a year then I’m not renewing before hand. Our generator was purchased in October installed in November we were told back then that we were fortunate as that’s when they would be doing our yearly cleanings, right before winter however, that’s no longer the case I called today to schedule our yearly maintenance and was told they could come out October 31 and their prices had gone up from $300 to $350, but I would be getting the special price of $400 because it’s peak season and there is a $50 peak charge. We bought in peak season and our service has always been done this time of year. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere unless you’re independently wealthy, and don’t have a problem with people not following through with what you were told when you bought their product.

Everything from the initial contact to request a quote to the finished installation has been great. The entire crew was very meticulous, treated my property as it was their own. Installation couldn't have turned out better. We are very pleased with Generator Connection.

During the March 22nd-March 24th storm we lost power and needed to use our generator. On our second day with out power we lost about half of our connections from the generator. My husband did check the breakers and it did appear that something was off with them. He called Generator Connection on Monday and reviewed the problem with someone over the phone. An appointment was made and the charges were reviewed. It would cost $150.00 for the trip to our house and another $150.00 for the diagnosis and service call. We provided payment at that time of the initial phone call. The technician arrived and he found the capacitor to not be at full strength and the breaker to be faulty. He replaced the capacitor but did not have a breaker on his truck. I asked him why he didn't have one since this was part of the initial conversation. He stated that breakers were not something that was stocked on their trucks. I then asked him if I would have to pay the same charges again and he said I would have to speak to the office staff. He also said a quote for the work would be sent to me. The quote did arrive and the $300.00 dollar trip fee and service charge were quoted for the repair. I would also be charged $42.00 for a breaker. I called the office and complained about these charges. I was told they would take $75.00 off the second visit. I did a little research and have figured out that the capacitor was $12.99 on Amazon and the breaker was $11.99. The time to change the capacitor was probably 15 minutes and a breaker would be maybe 10 minutes. The total cost from generator connection was originally $702.00 for parts that only cost under $25.00 and would take under an hour to fix both problems. I sent Generator Connection an email and was told the service manager would get back to me...he never did. My guess is he really can't justify what they charged me so he is choosing to ignore me or worse, he just doesn't care about his customers. Either way, it's obvious to me Generator Connection is not the business that I thought they were and I will not ever recommend them to anyone again.

Called to see if they had Honda generators in stock. Was asked if I was an existing or new client and told the lady I was a new client. She then proceeded to tell me that all the technicians were out for the week and since I was a new client she couldn't tell me what was in stock. I thanked her and told her I would buy one elsewhere. Went to Seacoast Power Equipment and they had the Honda 7000 in stock and within 30 minutes had it loaded up in my vehicle and off I went.

This shop did an excellent job putting in a Kohler 20kW RESD with ATS and load shedding. System worked flawless for five years until the controller went out. Bonnie helped us immediately to get service before the warranty ended. Super efficient repair by Zach and we were back online in less than a week. A++ they really know their equipment.
