We planned to move from New Hampshire to Colorado in March 2020. We did not want our items so sit in a warehouse, or to be transferred between trucks. So we looked for a company which would handle door-to-door. Chase the Mover/Hanover Transfer was an obvious choice due to their local reputation.
Nate visited us in January and explained the process and estimated how much our items weighed (12k pounds). He returned twice more, at our request, to evaluate our packing progress. About a week before the move he brought his driver over to determine which truck they would need. On Monday, moving day, they arrived promptly at 8:00 with a crew of four friendly young men. By 5:20, our 3 bedroom house had been emptied and the truck was filled to the roof. All of our furniture was wrapped in blankets. The truck arrived in Colorado on Friday and was unpacked by late afternoon. All of our possessions were placed into the correct rooms. During the two months prior to the move, we had occasional questions which they were able to answer quickly. We are completely delighted with the experience we had with Chase/Hanover. We highly recommend them. They were always professional, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and friendly and made their part of a stressful process run calmly and smoothly.
This was my second time using Chase The Mover and they are very thorough, professional and accommodating. Great to work with and trustworthy.

They showed up with a truck much smaller than the one they said they be using. so they were unable to carry everything because the truck was too small. They refused to come back for a second load as they were only scheduled for one load. charge $2800 and reduced it by $200 because they couldn’t complete the job, I suggest getting it in writing that they will take everything that they state they will take to begin with!

Not enough space to fully sing the praises of this excellent moving company. From my first interaction with Ann to the final step of the move: prompt, professional, communicative, fairly priced and friendly. Kudos to this team! ❤️

We worked with Anne and Nate to move my mother from Springfield to Georgia and everything about the move went great. The guys who worked the move were excellent and very professional. And the handoff for the move to Georgia happened almost immediately and that leg of the move was handled very well. And the price we paid was right in the range we were quoted. No surprises. Great people to work with.

My husband and I had an exceptional experience with everyone at Chase. From speaking to Anne over the phone and having to move our move date (delayed closing) to the guys showing up promptly at 8am ready to work in the pouring rain. Everyone was prompt, courteous and professional and we truly could not have had a better experience. Really wonderful, local moving co. Highly recommend.
