Was billed $1200.00 without being notified or told after a two hour fix. They charge $250 an hour it’s an hour away from me so before touching my machine I had $500 into travel time for the mechanic to drive to me and back and $250 an hour for two hours to fix a hydraulic lever that I guarantee it won’t be the last time it happens. Absolutely blindsided by this and am not happy ready to trade my machine for a bobcat or something. $250 an hour labor rate what has this world come too. So disappointed it’s not even funny. Alta equipment should not even be able to charge $250 an hour. This is also after paying full price for a used machine that was leased out for a year prior to me buying it which seems odd also. Just please watch yourselfs people. Service manager also has an additude problem like he did me a favor for getting him here fast. I’d send my guys out fast to at $250 an hour. Just sad and it sucks cause I’m a loyal guy who stays with company’s that are decent and straight forward.
Called in January about a quote for a wheel loader repair, they sent out a guy to look at it. Well it's April still no quote have called twice and told me they knew nothing about it. Big waist of time.

This company is second to none with there service. Kyla and everybody in the office is helpful with questions or anything needed. The service department has a fast turn around to get you back working. My experience here has been awesome and I plan to continue growing my company with Alta.

My company has been renting construction equipment for many years for week long and monthly rental periods. Working with Kyla has been an absolute pleasure. Her pricing is VERY aggressive and she is always willing to work with us to be sure our needs are met. The equipment is always second to none, and in new or near new condition. I would highly recommend contacting her.

Northland delivered our 3 JCB loaders this week that we added to our fleet, and today Josh and Mike came by to give our staff a primer on operations and maintenance. Even though the sale and delivery had completed, the customer service continued!
We received a fair price, a great product, and great service, what's not to like? We do business with a wide variety of equipment suppliers, and Northland is top-notch!
