Aaron from J. Messina Stump Grinding came this morning and got rid of 6 stumps in our yard. He showed up on time, did a great job and is priced very fairly. As an extra bonus, my two year old son and I both loved watching the remote controlled machine work. I highly recommend.
Simply masterful service and a great value! After having almost 30 large trees taken down, I attempted to rent as large of a stump grinder in hopes that I could save some money by grinding myself. I quickly discovered the stump grinder I rented was no match for the huge, and fairly green oak stumps, so I did what I should have done from the beginning -- followed the advice of several friends and contact Jared Messina.
I contact Jared and send photos of the stumps, quickly receiving what I felt was a VERY reasonable quote to both grind the stumps and remove the waste. One of Jared's guys was onsite the next week and took care of the work in record time. The combination of skill and very capable equipment was so impressive! They ground the stumps incredibly quickly (even graciously finishing off a stump-or-two that I did not complete with the rental grinder) and then came back a couple days later and did a terrific job cleaning up.
In summary, I found working with Jared Messina and his crew to be nothing short of masterful. Plus, I really enjoyed speaking with Jared himself when he accompanied his crew the day the cleanup was performed. Please do yourself a favor and give this local company your business.

As a local small business in the tree removal industry we use Jared for all our stump grinding. He holds himself to a much higher standard of professionalism then his competitors while keeping his price's at a very affordable rate. Jared is honest and has integrity unlike most other business's allowing him to create an environment that is comfortable to do business with. Enough cannot be said about this business thus leaving a 5 star review as the only option.

Jared is a real "down to earth" guy, and will bend over backwards to make sure everything you want is done professionally, and exactly the way you want it. He took down two trees for me and cleaned up so well, I actually had to look up to see any signs that he was even there! He is very strict on his crew being safe. I'd HIGHLY recommend his wide variety of services, and let his firewood keep you warm in the winter!!!

Amy and I wanted to let you know about our recent experience with Jared Messina and his crew. It's difficult to lose trees, especially trees that have lived a long, long time, but Jared helped us make good, tough decisions.
He is a strong, clear communicator, and Jared thinks and approaches problems like a concerned homeowner. His crew members were safety conscious and left a clean area following each day of work.
Jared is a reasonable, hard-working businessman, and his prices are fair. If you need his excavating and tree services, you won't be disappointed.
