I called to ask if he could make a modification to a canvas bimini top for my boat. David said "can you bring it in to show me what you need?". I took it right in. He said he was at a point in his current project where he could do my work without having to lose time resetting the sewing machine. I observed, helped as needed, and it was done! It was less expensive than I expected. And it fits just right!

Our very large and heavy sofa was in need of a small, but tricky repair. David returned my voicemail the very same day and immediately put himself to the task. Within a week we had David at our home to fix our couch, on the weekend to boot! I am so grateful for his prompt, professional and caring service. Our couch looks like new and we cannot recommend Practical Upholstery Design Studio enough to everyone. David is knowledgeable, talented and wonderful to work with!

We bought an antique dining set which included 8 chairs back in August. The chair seats were stripped down to the padding and needed to be reupholstered. We brought the chairs to David for the reupholstery job. He has a great selection of different fabrics to choose from and we made our decision fairly quickly. The work took about 2 weeks and it was done impeccably! Highly recommend bringing any furniture you're looking to have reupholstered to David. He is a highly skilled craftsman that definitely excels in his trade.

On time, on budget, what more can I say? This was the best experience I have ever had reupholstering my 40+ year old couch. The fabric is gorgeous, the detail work on the wood was perfect and all done within my budget and timeframe. 100% satisfied!!
