This review does not reflect the service GSE provides (as I was never able to actually get anyone here) but rather their scheduling and customer service, or lack there of. My first call to GSE was a month ago, to which I was told I would get a call back for a consultation for having two exterior lights replaced. After two weeks of patiently waiting and no call back, I tried again and was told I would once again be called back. Another two weeks go by and I finally receive a text from Ray asking to set up an appointment for this morning at 11 am. I rearranged my schedule to make sure I was available, only to have a no show. When I called GSE to ask what happened, I was met with indifference by a secretary and was told I'd be called back when someone was available. Frustrated, I called a different company and was scheduled immediately. If there was not enough time in the schedule to even call us back for a consult, that's fine, but I wish we were just told that the first time we called, rather than having wasted the last month being kept on the hook.

I used this company for many years for my rental units in Manchester. It used to be I could call and speak to a person (usually Jackie) to schedule work. For the past year or so they’re now using an answering service and nobody calls back after speaking to the service. It’s happened now three times. It also happened to my parent’s over the summer. I’m not sure where the message isn’t getting to the right person (or maybe they just don’t want to deal with residential work) but it’s disappointing. It happened again today and I’m hoping they can course correct.

I had Kevin Howard come out to fix some electrical outlets and light switches that stopped working after I foam insulation was installed. Kevin was able to fix my electrical outlets and switches quickly (one of the wires had been ripped from the outlet and he had to fish it out the wall). He also let me know that he did not encounter any foam insulation. I called the company that did the insulation and they assured me he didn’t understand the process and their job was done correctly. That company sent their expert over to confirm I had the insulation done correctly, only to find out Kevin was 100% correct that they botched the job. I am extremely thankful to Kevin for fixing my electrical issues and letting me know his honest opinion I had shoddy work done on my home by the insulation company. Going forward, Granite State Electricians will be my first and only choice for any electrical work I need done on my house. Kevin is awesome and I will be requesting him for my projects in the future.

Every now and again one gets lucky and today I can honestly say that it was one of those times. My husband had met Ray Desroche at the Lowe's parking lot. My husband approached him to ask a few questions about electrical work we wanted done.Ray was pleasant and extremely helpful in answering my husband's questions.We asked for his business card which he gave us...Last week we called him and made an appointment. Ray came early and was on time. He was exceptional in doing the electrical work we had requested which was putting a new fan in our bedroom and installed remote control unit in an existing fan. Ray is extremely skilled and is totally focused on work he is doing and works at a good pace..I would definitely recommend Ray for all of your household electrical needs. Ray works for the Granite State Electricians Commercial and Residential for quality work. Requesting Ray would be to your benefit as you will not be disappointed. Most recently, I placed a call after hours in the evening and the owner called me back to assure me he would have someone out the next day.
