We’ve used DeSanto Electric in the past (about four years ago) for a hot tub outlet installation. They did a great job. So when we were getting a radon fan installed and found out the day of the job that we needed an electrician, we knew who to call! Amy answered the phone immediately and told us they could come out in a few hours and give us an estimate. Every person we dealt with was friendly and informative. They were able to complete the job quickly, neatly, and everything is up and running. Will definitely use DeSanto Electric again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Paul and Angelica were fantastic. They installed under cabinet lights, new ceiling fixtures, and moved some outlets. They show up when they said they would. They were neat and courteous. I would have them bad anytime and will recommend them to my friends. 2/5/2024 I used DeSanto again to install an outlet in may garage for an EV charger. Once again. They did a fantastic job!!!

I called to have two issues addressed. The techs who responded were able to fix one issue but not the second one. They left my house without fully diagnosing the second issue. I was charged for a service call and work done for the issue which was not resolved. I then received an estimate for another (more expensive) diagnosis/service call and a second estimate for a more invasive repair, since the second issue was never properly diagnosed on the first visit. I called another company who was able to diagnose the second issue correctly and fix the problem for less than my initial visit from DeSanto, and less than both of the estimates I received for follow up work. The DeSanto techs removed a $50-60 smart switch and installed a $5-10 switch in the area where the second issue was. They cut the wires to the smart switch instead of removing it properly, rendering it useless and unable to be tested further for defect. They suspected the switch may have been causing my second issue. I was charged $150 for this work, in addition to losing my more expensive and more sophisticated switch. When the electrician from the other company diagnosed the problem, I was told that it had nothing to do with the light switch. I called DeSanto to express my dissatisfaction and ask for a refund, at least for the cost of a new smart switch and for the work to swap it out, which proved to be unnecessary. I also sent an email in response to the message I received with the estimates for follow up work. I did not receive a call back nor an email response. It has been over a month since I reached out. I probably should have followed up with DeSanto to press them on the issue, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that. I waited to submit my review, hoping for a response and a more satisfactory resolution, but that never happened. If this had occurred, I would feel much better about my experience with DeSanto. You can certainly understand if something isn't handled correctly the first time, but when the issue is never addressed properly afterward, it can become even more frustrating. I would give them a high rating for identifying and resolving my first issue; but, I was very disappointed with the way the second issue was handled, as well as the lack of follow up with my inquiry about a refund. I will be calling the other company who was able to properly address my second issue in the future. It is a shame, because I received a glowing recommendation for DeSanto from a family member. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience with them.

Two gentlemen were extremely honest, professional, hardworking and, efficient. We’re very excited for this company to come back to our home and finish the next job. Highly recommend anyone to use this company. After another round with DeSanto Electric, I only wanted the best in the business! Adding a few outlets in my garage along with a brand new meter and fuse box. I couldn’t be more grateful for their expertise and efficiency!
