We contracted with NJ Tile Installers to help with a bathroom and kitchen renovation. Andrei provided a clear budget which allowed us to save some money by doing the demo and waste removal ourselves. His crew tiled our bathroom walls, shower, and floor and our kitchen backsplash. Then we had the tub reglazed and they came out to help us refresh the caulk! Stay flexible by a day or two on your start date and communicate your needs and the quality will be well worth it!

My stand up shower floor had to be replaced, and I hired this company to resolve the problem. Even though the general quality was quite satisfactory they still failed to create an adequate shower slope. As soon as I started using the shower I realized the degree of discomfort that an excessively steep slope could cause on feet. An older person or someone with disability will not be able to stand there at all. The slope is a little over 1” per foot which is way above industry recommended of 1/4”. Unfortunately, for some reason, they didn’t bother to extend the drain which would allow a proper construction. A professional tile contractor is hired now to redo the floor. Obviously I will not consider this company for any of my future projects, nor will I make recommendations to my friends and colleagues.

We needed to give our outdated, half-demolished fireplace an extreme makeover and did not know where to begin. We started out calling fireplace companies, but were given ridiculous prices for work we did not want done. We finally turned to Andrei, and he accepted our job immediately, which was a huge relief. We shared a photo of our vision and Andrei and team executed to PERFECTION! This job required a lot of mitered cuts, which is a lot of work, and NJ Tile executed flawlessly. I think we are still in disbelief that we were able to get it done. We will ALWAYS use NJ Tile for all of our tiling needs, and recommend to friends and family without hesitation.

Andrei gave us great advice on grout selection and even went to Home Depot to pick up supplies when I bought the wrong products. NJ Tile Installers recently completed a job at my house in New Jersey. The project consisted of tiling a basement floor (about 650 sqft feet) and tiling a bathroom (100 sqft of shower walls and 35 sqft of bathroom floor). Overall, Andrei and his crew did a phenomenal job and we would highly recommend them and happy to serve as a reference. Reliability & Responsiveness: Andrei is exceptionally reliable. We scheduled the job about 2 weeks in advance and confirmed 1-2 days before work commenced. Andrei arrived on the appointed day and continued work uninterrupted until the job was completed. Andrei is responsive by phone and text message and promptly returned my phone calls. Beyond that, when we first met Andrei we were behind schedule with our project and urgently needed someone to install a shower base so that we could proceed with next steps; Andrei kindly came by a few days later to install the shower base and we were extremely grateful for his flexibility. Knowledge/Experience: Andrei is a true professional in his field. We initially selected a marble tile for our bathroom and Andrei advised us that marble is very porous and would require significant maintenance in a bathroom; this provided us an opportunity to switch tiles before work started. Also, we opted for a penny style mosaic tile for the bathroom floor and Andrei advised us to purchase floor leveler to make the bathroom floor smooth and even, which is important when laying down this type of tile to maintain a smooth and even look. The final product looks excellent. COVID: Andrei respected our request to wear a mask and maintain a minimum 6' distance when we interacted. We felt very comfortable having Andrei work in our home.
