My Dad and I have been dealing with this company for over 20 plus years. And have never had a problem. There knowledge is priceless. Hey guys miss you all. From Whiting,NJ.
I would give this place a less than one star rating but it won't allow it.
The owner? is beyond miserable. A nasty, obstinate old curmudgeon.
I wanted to rent a pair of ramps. Called and spoke to them about it and told them how I was going to load/transport them. Went there to pick them up, and was told that he would not rent them to me as it was "unsafe" to load them on my trailer because they would be out the back by 2 feet. 2 feet!
I told him I had flagging I intended to put on it but that wasn't good enough for the nasty cuss.
Industry standard for rear overhang is 2' with loads flagged.
Beyond this, I had rented a stair climbing hand truck the day before that didn't even work properly.
Seems all their "equipment" is used and abused and held together with duct tape and bubble gum!
Stay away from this place, it's a hole.
Go to Rentals Unlimited in Pompton Plains. Nice, helpful people and top notch, well maintained equipment.

Great spot if your looking to rent any equipment, I rented a sewer Jetter 2 times from them , Charle was great and helping me with my rental!!

Customer service wasn’t bad until I got to try to rent a 35 mini excavator and even with my ram 2500 with 6.4 and upgraded brakes they refuse to let us tow it when the machine in question weights between 10-12k pounds and a truck rated for more then double that. Was upset that they wanted the deliver charge instead of letting us rent there trailer. Good thing I got the rental from tri-state in newton. They got us a bigger machine and a trailer rental for 20 dollars less.
As a land clearing and septic business owner I will never be bringing my business back.

Great experience! They listened to my description of what I needed(leaf blower), gave me several options and suggestions and helped me get exactly what I wanted and needed. They were helpful, nice, and had great product knowledge.
I valued their suggestions and walked away confident that I got a great leaf blower, great price and they made the entire experience easy and pleasant.
Easy parking, no line, no waiting for help. 100% satisfied!!!
