Affordable was great overall and Thomas the technician was great as well. They fit me in between two of their appointments which was great as my ac unit was going out and needed service asap.
Thomas diagnosed it quickly, explained the issue to me (twice because I was confused initially) and then was also very professional overall.
It ended up being less than I initially expected, which I know isn’t always in the technician’s control but was definitely a nice bonus.
I had a contract with HomeServe USA for water main repair. The contractor they worked with was not Affordable. I specifically requested Affordable even though it would require out-of-pocket and probably additional expense. I made this decision as I said to the Affordable people "I wanted their truck in my driveway". The technique they used for the complete replacement of my water line (I had polybutylene or the "grey" pipe) was non invasive and the job was done in less than a day. Their team arrived on time and was very professional. I'm very pleased I had Affordable's "truck in my driveway"
10-26-23 Heater Repair
Patrick was terrific! He diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repair. We now have heat again!! As I said in a previous post. When I have plumbing or HVAC issues I WANT the Affordable truck in my driveway or in front of my house. I know the job will be done correctly and professionally.

I called Affordable and requested a plumber. My Hose Bib had worn out. They had a plumber available and sent him right over. Brandon was my plumber. He diagnosed the issue and replaced the hose bib within ~ 1 hour. He went to clean up the area he was working on and I told him to not worry about it I would deal with it. He gave me a look and said he didn't finish a job until he cleaned the area up. Brandon was very conscientious about his work and minimizing the impact on my home. As I've said in my previous reviews..........I WANT the Affordable truck in my driveway or in front of my house.

I called Affordable Plumbing (My Goto plumbing/AC company) to look at my AC evaporator (inside unit) to see if it needed cleaning. My AC unit is ~ 30 years old and was working fine but I never had my evaporator cleaned. Patrick looked at it and determined it was dirty but....... since the unit is so old and working (uses R22 which has been phased out) he recommended to not fix/clean it since it is working and cooling properly. His professionalism and knowledge were appreciated. I'm pleased Affordable Plumbing is available when needed. I've said it in my other reviews.....when I have issues.....I WANT the Affordable truck in my driveway or in front of my house.

I had a bit of a swamp cooler emergency before the weekend. Temperatures are about to hit 100°. I'm a mom who didn't want her child to have to suffer in a sweltering home. I didn't have much hope that I would get a same day appointment but Tony was able to make his way over that day, arm in a sling, and somewhat work with my schedule. He has an incredible work ethic who obviously takes pride in what he does. Him and his apprentice's hard work is very much appreciated. I'm so grateful this problem was solved before the weekend. Thank you! I'm looking forward to utilizing this company for future needs.

I was surprised how much the new hot water heater cost! However, the technician Freddy Montoya was excellent in his understanding and respect about the concerns of a retired senior on a fixed income. His work was of the highest quality and he explained every thing thoroughly.

Travis showed up on time, was very professional, and knew everything about our tankless water heater. He located the problem in no time and told us about options we could take to resolve the problem. He listened to other issues we had with the hot water in the house. He set up a service to receive a new water heater, which is recommended for our area due to the hard water, and offered us a great deal, along with a Veterans discount for my husband. Best of all, quick service to check out the problem and get it fixed during the 4th of July holiday.

Always a positive experience dealing with Affordable Service Plumbing and Heating. And the dealings I have had with their service people have been excellent. For the service call I had most recently, the technician was Chance. He was absolutely awesome! He listened, thoroughly checked out where the problems might lie and explained to me the process that would happen. Can't ask for more than that!

Kurt came out today to reinstall my garbage disposal. He was extremely professional and courteous. He completed the work in a timely matter and cleaned up after himself. I cannot recommend Affordable Service Plumbing and Air Conditioning and Electric enough. They are a great company!

Patrick has helped us with our heating and air conditioning system for around five years or so. He is completely trustworthy in his diagnosis and I always feel confident with what he recommends. Our first visit with Patrick was after we were without A/C for several days because our prior service individual was backed up. Within a day or so after our call Patrick was there and shortly thereafter the unit was up and running and has been running under Patrick's care ever since. While being very competent technically he is also quite personable and is a credit to Affordable Service which I am sure they are aware of.

Chose these folks for duct cleaning as they are a Rio Rancho business and BBB. Carlos, as promised, called to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly, was extremely polite, explained and showed us the procedure, very quickly and quietly cleaned all 12 ducts and 1 return, and left no mess behind! We will check our furniture once we transition to A/C (had already stopped using heater) to see how effective the duct cleaning was. Price was reasonable and will be well worth it if our household air is cleaner. And we did not know in advance, but they gave us a senior discount. We are very happy so far and want to emphasize again that Carlos is an excellent representative for his company.
