I normally like shopping at Sprouts, but will likely hesitate to go back (especially in light of the fact that Market Street is just around the corner). I went in this morning, did my regular shop, and checked out. The cashier lamented that she needed help with bagging. I typically bag my own groceries when this happens, so I did it with zero problem. There was a line forming behind me, so I felt super rushed to get my groceries bagged and to pay. When I went to pay, I neglected to give her the 10% off coupon I had from my shop the week before. I scanned my card and quickly commented to wait a second, and began fishing it out of my pocket. She was very quick to tell me that it was too late. I guess that’s $15.00 I’ll never see! Kind of feels like it could’ve been handled differently.

Sprouts always has good deals and decent produce. They have tons of vegan/gluten free options and the added benefit that they’re open late for Santa Fe.

Some past reviewers commented negatively about customer service. There must be an ongoing emphasis on this by management because I have been experiencing great treatment recently. Rebekah, in Health and Beauty went out of her way during both our phone and in-store interactions and she did so in a very warm and friendly manner, as if it was not a bother. Also, the gentleman, who has been in that department quite a while, always acknowledges my presence. He never seems 'burnt-out' for having been there so long. As I left that department and idled in the aisles mulling over what I needed, I was asked by three separate employees, who were stocking shelves, if I needed any help and they each engaged in brief good-natured banter. The woman with the very long ponytail, stocking the aisles, is always ready to assist me. I've also recently had pleasant experiences with several employees based around the self-service machine. I hope the company treats these employees well and motivates them to happily stay. Sprouts does a good job of offering a wide variety of products.

The produce, deli, bulk goods, produce & butcher departments are nice. The staff is generally pretty nice and make an effort to be helpful. I will say though that it just seems the same, exactly the same as a few years ago. However, to keep a big box store profitable you have to evolve and change the visible stimuli (for example signage & displays) and merchandising throughout the store to keep people engaged, buying different things, more (& additional) stuff and coming back. That's not happening here.

The produce at Sprouts was exceptional! Many organic crops. Fresh meats and healthy snacks. The staff was helpful and nice. They have alternative organic vegan options of all kinds. I am happy with the veggies and pre seasoned pork tenderloin. They weighed it to 1.7 lbs, exactly what I asked for.
