Just had Jolt Electric do the wiring for my new Hot Tub. They did a fantastic job. They were there on time, and were very efficient. They installed a new circuit breaker on my main panel, a shut off box, ran conduit below ground to the front of the spa and wired up the sap. Finished product looks very neat and tidy.
Previously they ran electrical to a new water feature (plus a digital timer for the water feature) and installed a whole home surge protector. Price was very reasonable..
Jolt is the best! This is the 2nd time we have used them for work at our home. We first used them in June 2023 and knew they were the ones to call for the latest work. Jerry, the owner, promptly came out and reviewed the project which consisted on installing a surge protector on the main panel, replace an exterior light fixture, and adding an exterior receptacle outlet. Jerry sent over the estimate promptly, and Heather and Jennifer were very helpful in answering our questions and scheduling the project. Much to our surprise, they were able to schedule us for the July 4th holiday. James and Jose arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and did a great job with the work! Very professional and clean work! We were happy to see James, who did our job in June 2023, as he is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional!

Set up a visit for Jolt to quote a job on Monday to hopefully get some work done in the next two weeks. Jerry (the owner) arrived, checked a couple things with a multimeter, grabbed some gloves and a flathead then ended up just getting the job done then and there in about 15 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the response time and saving us all of the downtime. We will be calling Jolt for more work down the road.

I had a bad main breaker that was caused by the company that installed solar on our house. Essentially they did sloppy work and did not bolt down the bars from the meter correctly nor tighten down the lugs all the way (power in). I couldn't run power for more than 30 minutes without tripping the breaker. I called Jolt after I couldn't find any electrical contractors with same-day availability.
Not only did the owner himself come out to do the repair, he even called around to find a very specific breaker that I needed and found the only one in Reno, to which I picked up and didn't get charged markup. He showed up in 20 minutes after I got home and found the problem immediately, and also called a lineman from NV Energy to remove the meter so the panel was safe to work. When I called NV Energy for a temporary disconnect, they wanted to charge me $400.
The rate also was extremely fair, and only charged me one hour of emergency labor and troubleshooting. Any other contractor would have made this job cost over $1,000, and essentially it cost me only $350 to get power back to my house correctly.
Thank you very much Jolt - there are a lot of dishonest contractors in Nevada and Jolt is not one of them, their pricing is fair, good customer service, and gets right to the problem and doesn't try to over-sell you on stuff you don't need or take advantage. Thanks again!

We had Jolt Electric come out to put our whole house fan on a seperate circuit from our hall lights. Jack and Barnabas gave us excellent service. Both gentlemen were on time, polite and gave great customer service. We will be calling them again if we are in need of another project getting done.

Jolt Electric is great. We had them come out to safe out a junction box and while they were there, we had them do a couple of other things. Jack and Barnabus were on time, polite and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again if we need anything electrical done! Well done guys!

Jolt Electric is great! It was very easy to schedule and communicate with Heather in the office. Mike and James did a fantastic job replacing all outlets and switches in our home. They arrived on time, were very professional and friendly and did a great job! I highly recommend this company! Keep up the good work!

From the estimate to the finished product, Gerry and his workers, were upfront, answered my questions. Gave me a few options, showed up on time, finished the work even sooner than I thought, they worked together well. Told me how things were labeled and showed me how connections worked. The price was lower than others I contacted. If you want if done right. Call Jolt Electric.

Let me start by pointing out that we live in Fallon and Jolt Electric is in Carson City. About two weeks ago the power went out in our house, but we just assumed it was weather related due to all the recent storms. NV Energy was contacted and they came out and restored power.
The next day, our A/C unit would not turn on, but the air handler did, so my wife went out to our main electrical service panel to check the circuit breaker for the A/C. She noticed all of the plastic labels at the top of the panel were melted and just black streaks where the labels were, so luckily she didn’t touch the circuit breaker and waited to show me when I got home from work.
I then noticed the area behind the dead front panel, next to the A/C circuit breakers, was black. It was obvious that there has been arcing and the A/C circuit breakers were stuck open. After using a non-contact voltage tester on the switches of that breaker, they were energized, so thank goodness my wife did not attempt to reset that breaker.
She began calling down the list of electricians in Fallon, Fernley, and Reno to find someone to look at the panel. She either never got a call back after leaving messages, were told they don’t service Fallon, or responded that it would be about three months before they could get to us. We were worried our house was going to burn down, but couldn’t find an electrician that seemed to care.
My wife called Jolt Electric and spoke to Heather. From the first call, the experience was amazing. It only took about a week for them to get everything they needed, obtain permits, schedule the disconnect / reconnect, and be at our door ready to work. I’m writing this review just minutes after the electricians, Jack and Barnabus, left our house, having spent all day replacing the panel and testing. Everything looks great and very professional work. Thank you all for making this a seamless experience. If you need an electrician, call Jolt and don’t waste your time with calling anyone else.
