Installers were amazing, the office absolutely sucks, we got windows in November and it’s April and still don’t have the correct screens we ordered, and to top it off the management tried to tell the installers we were the problem and she. They showed up he just shook his head and told us he was sorry. Just the ignorance that comes out of that office , I would never recommend them to anyone..
The worst company ever, bad widows, jobs never are completed correctly. over three years for replacement windows that where missing when the frames turned yellow. now burn marks from sun all over some of the new windows replaced one year ago. awful company. do not recommend.

I should have read the reviews before using this company. It has been a year since my slider install which was supposed to come with a screen door. Still no screen door and I have not had a response from the company in months. This is not how you run a business. If you don't have the parts, don't sell them. Reading the warranty reviews I am very concerned that if I have an issue, I will just have to replace the entire door all together.
Update, 7/10/2024. No one has called me, STILL NO SCREEN DOOR and my sliding door is yellowing very badly and the windows don't seem to be insulating the room well anymore.

Windows purchased 3/23 installed months later. Damage to 3 window sills and frame, front main window still waiting on repairs. Calling and emailing Jeremy with no response. Byer beware!!!!!

February twenty second twenty twenty four. I had two installers come to my home today to install three windows. They were very professional. They were on time and complete gentlemen. The work was excellent they cleaned up after themselves. Thank you universal for having great contractors with knowledge. Again thanks Universal I will definitely recommend universal too friends acquaintance and family.

This company was very responsive, reliable, and professional with our sliding door installation and transom window. The first team that came to install the door & window were timely and worked clean cleaning up their mess as they worked and also after job was completed, we are very happy with their service and product. The second crew that came for the drywall and the frame were very helpful; Bert and Vinny were absolutely amazing to us, I can’t speak highly enough for their efforts to make sure we were all set and happy with our product. Bert and Vinny even went out of their way to help us match paint for our outside stucco and even helped finish up the wall around our doggy door, and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t something they had to do but rather were kind enough to help us do. Patty in the office was very responsive to our concerns and any communication we had, she was very reliable. Even the owner Eugene was great and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied and taken care of. I have to admit that amid the past reviews I was a bit skeptical, but I am definitely happy I took the plunge… there are always going to be those “Karen’s” leaving bad reviews and are never happy, but I can promise you that this company was wonderful. Universal windows direct was an awesome choice and I highly recommend them!!! A++++++ service!!

We had our windows installed 2 and half years ago. They miss measured one window and expedited a new window, which when once installed broke at the lifting mechanism. It took over 1 year to get a new window installed from the factory. Working with the staff at the company was very difficult. I even had a conference call with the owner which didn't produce any more urgency. I believe the windows are of good quality when done right. I believe the office staff needs more encouragement by management to be more proactive with the customers. The installation team was excellent and I'm very appreciative of their skills and hard work.

I love my windows and doors that they installed on my house it keep my room about 30% cooler then it used to be and they also keep my rest of my house 30% cooler so I can save on energy and my money so I don't spend so much money on energy. But I will definitely recommend them if you need Windows and Doors. And I will be going back to them to do the whole house.
