I had Sierra Nevada Door and Window replace all of the windows on the back of my house a few years ago. Now that I"m in the market to have the other half of my windows replaced, I would never consider having them back. I paid extra (on the estimate and invoice) to caulk and finish so I could paint right away. The gaps were so large around the windows that I could read the house wrap under the siding. Site manager said it wasn't his problem. I called to complain, they wouldn't send anyone out, never offered to fix it or refund that money. When they stopped returning my calls, I called again and left a message that I wanted an estimate for the rest of the windows, they called back in a few minutes. Never.
It was truly a delight to deal with Sierra Door and Window. I dropped by the shop in Verdi to see if they could replace my faulty door hardware, and they immediately set me up with the exact thing I needed, ordered it right then and there and installed it within two weeks. Owner Mark Bollinger came to my house to do the work — he was professional, courteous, efficient, and I dare say, quite a perfectionist, always a good thing in my mind. I was very satisfied, and indeed so impressed that I’m now ordering new front doors from Sierra Door and and Window.

Team is fantastic and helpful. Promo responses. No surprises. I order two solid core doors, door trim and hardware. Compared to other so called suppliers SNDW actually call you back and respond to emails and phone calls. Stacey is awesome

SNDW was an awesome group to work with! They were incredibly accommodating to my busy schedule and made it super easy for to come in when I had limited free time to pick up my new door that they ordered and helped prepare for me. Not only that I got a cup of coffee in the lobby and had a good conversation with Stacey while I waited. A+++ customer service and such a great experience! Thank you all!

I was hesitant at first to approach this business because of their reviews but I’m glad I didn’t. The process was super easy and originally they told me it was a week out before they could get my door cut into the desired preference for my door opening. I took a chance and went in and was immediately greeted by Stacy who was very busy servicing other customers but still was attentive and very professional and made sure I got everything I needed. Stacy then told me my door would be done the next day tomorrow morning and sure enough I received a phone call the next day to inform me that my door was done. I was completely satisfied and was relieved they didn’t take a week like they originally said. Thank you Stacy and thank you to your team at Sierra Nevada Door and Window. I look forward to doing business with you guys in the future.

Wonderful customer service and fair pricing. They replaced our windows and doors over a series of years (we had to phase the project because of budget), and each time they came out, they did a professional, careful and tidy job. So impressed by Jason and Stacey in the office for all their help in getting this job done.

This company hung a barn door for this quite recently and also built and installed a mantle above my fireplace. I could not be more impressed with their customer service, professionalism, and quality of work. I will definitely recommend their services and I know I will come back again!

This company hung a barn door for me and within a few months the 4 small screws in the track rollers, hanging the very heavy door came out of the top of the door and fell. It took me several emails and phone calls to finally get to talk to someone about it. When I did, It was "diagnosed" over the phone. After asking if someone had been hanging on it, (NO!) they decided that it was because we "slammed" it too many times! (not true) Never-the-less, they were happy to fix it for 350.00!
Since then, I've had several knowledgeable people look at it and they all conclude that the 2 little screws in each roller are too short for such a heavy door. The only way those screws would hold up that door is if the top portion of the barn door was solid wood.
The fact that they didn't even bother to come look at it, and then charge me 350.00 to fix their mistake is unbelievable. I would never hire this company again.
