I worked with Affordable Interior Design to decorate my living room, dining room, master bedroom, home office and patio. I would HIGHLY recommend them! Anita Magyar (their Westchester designer) is an incredible designer. She is very thorough, responsive, decisive - really worked with me to understand my design sense (even when I wasn't quite sure how to describe it). I loved everything she came back with! She was also flexible to make some tweaks when I wanted to look at another option for my decor. My home turned out beautifully and Anita saved me a ton of time in the process! She helped me pick out unique options which I would not have been able to come up with on my own and I am so happy with the results! She also really worked with my budget and picked out a mix of reasonable vs. high end options. I plan on working with her again for some home accessories in the near future and other areas in my home. Love, love, love Anita and would highly recommend working with her...P.S. I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a positive experience that I am hoping to help others who might be in the same boat struggling with decorating and hoping to find a high quality, yet affordable decorator. You won't regret working with them!
I can't say enough great things about Affordable Interior Design. Their designers are so thoughtful and talented. They're extremely responsive, and I am so impressed with their buying/shopper team. They've been collaborative and extremely patient with me as I finalize each piece for my home. Thanks to their talented and amazing team, my home feels like a home now! Highly recommend.

Our experience with Affordable Interior Design was all that we hoped for and more. I can't say enough about our designer, Paulina. She was engaging and personable, and she immediately grasped the style we were going for. She was full of great ideas and helpful tips (i.e. precisely where to hang art, rug placement down to the inch), and now we have a bad ass plan and a detailed shopping list for two rooms! My wife and I would definitely use this service again and would happily recommend Paulina to anyone looking to take their home to the next level.

Allison worked with us on our house Westchester two occasions, designing our grand foyer, formal living room, office, master den, and nursery. The working model of the company is efficient which is important because we are busy people. I like that Allison was willing to provide "high" and "low" options so we can decide later on which items we want to spend more or less money. She seemed to understand our style very well. I also like there is no bias involved in her recommendations (unlike a conventional interior designer which is commission-based.) Will likely hire her again for any future room design projects.

I had the pleasure of working with Allison Rachlis at Affordable interior design and found it to be a great experience. We moved to a 4 bedroom house from a 2 bedroom apartment so I needed a lot of help.
I emailed Betsy who promptly put me in touch with Allison. Allison scheduled a date and came over to see the spaces I needed furnished.
I have a modern style but am Pakistani-American so also wanted certain pieces from my culture to be incorporated into the design.
Allison listened and made suggestions that worked with our family of 6 ranging from a 3 yr old to a 70 yr old.
She was a joy to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to decorate their home but not wanting to" break the bank" while doing so.
