Tom and his team rebuilt my existing rotting 18' x 24' deck in 2 days! They came with 2 trailers, quickly set up and cleaned up when done. Any questions or issues I brought up were quickly remedied and treated with care! Tom was easy to work with from the initial quote & materials selection through job completion. My toddler definitely approves of her new safe deck play area!
There are alot of decking building companies out there. We chatted with quite a few and in the end Tom and build a deck were able provide all options for composite decking, not just trex. We were going for a specific look and Fiberon had the colors/textures and look that we were after. was exactly what we were looking for. Our deck was about 500sqft and 30+ years old. They rebuilt the substructure and topped it off with Fiberon Ipe with Burnt Umber as an accent and Colorguard Tuscany railing.Tom and his team explained everything to us and you can tell he and his team care about building beautiful decks that will definitely enhance our outdoor living. His team arrived at the house early to start the day and worked their butts off during this intense heat wave. The crew was great! We are really glad we decided to move forward with Build A Deck Long Island. Thanks Tom and Crew!

When my 20’x24’ Cedar deck started to rot after 26 years that I meticulously maintained, I knew I had to act quickly get it replaced! At the beginning of April 2024, I called three companies that had the top ratings. I read the unbiased reviews, and I had each company’s sales rep come to my home. I must say that Build-A-Deck Long Island had the most comprehensive and informative presentation! They covered every possible contingency the first day of my consultation with them on April 12th, and Tom, the owner of the company gave me a construction date of June 12th - less than 6 weeks after he had measured my deck during the busy season! To my delight, Tom called and moved the date up to June 11th! He sent three men who worked from 7:30am - 4pm for four days to construct my custom “Fiberon” Composite Deck and rails with measured precision and excellence worthy of the 5 star rating I gave! I so recommend Building-A-Deck Long Island!?

I recently had the pleasure of having deck and paver work done at my house by Tom and his crew, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.
From the initial consultation, Tom was very straight forward on the work that could be done and even had great suggestions for the layout of our yard. He and his crew completed the work in under a week as promised. Overall, very honest and worked with our budget.
The work turned out beautiful and absolutely would recommend Build A Deck LI. You won’t regret it.

Tom and his crew did an absolutely beautiful job rebuilding our rotting deck and replacing our crumbling patio. We found Tom to be super honest, straightforward and an overall great guy to work with. You can tell how much he really cares about doing right by his clients and we felt so confident in our choice to go with build a deck. Our project came out far better than we could have ever imagined - we are so excited for the next project with Tom and his team!

Tom and his team were phenomenal. They were professional, efficient and quick. They replaced my rotting deck in 3 days. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were satisfied with their work. I will recommend them to everyone I know.
