This place has anything you could ever need for sculpting, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
I came in last week looking for help working in a new medium, and the staff member who assisted me (tall, dark hair with blue highlights) was extremely patient and talked through about 10 different options for my proposed project.
10/10 experience, will definitely be returning

I shopped here on occasion years ago when living in NYC, always thought prices were way higher than they should be, but the attitude of this shop (and Mark, the owner) is so unprofessional, I am happy to avoid it from now on. Making it a policy to remove prices from the display shelves and also to raise prices on certain items unexpectedly – in an unapologetic manner – just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So very happy to buy sculpture materials elsewhere....

I am so happy this place is still around. ZOE was so helpful in getting me all I need for my personal project and MORGAN, too. You can tell they're really into what they do and know their products, and are happy to help you pick just what you need to make your ideas come to life. Their selection is unbeatable and I think their prices are pretty reasonable. The new location is nice. Get in there!

My favorite art store on the planet! Very wonderful staff that's always welcoming and helpful. Marc (owner) really shows that he genuinely cares, and goes out of his way to help individuals and the community. They have the best tools and materials than any art store I've seen. I'd highly recommend every artist to come here. It's like being a kid in a candy store. (And they have a shop cat!)

This place has the cleanest bathroom I've seen ina public establishment. Seriously it's cleaner than most restaurants I've been too. Sounds weird to start off a review like this, but honestly it's just a microcosm of the experiences you will have at this place. The staff are super helpful, and I don't mean like a Walmart greater getting payed by the platitude. They are always quick to help, if any individual can't answer your question, they'll find some one who can.the prices. . . Well that's a weird one because this store really is unique in new York, but compared to prices online they fit right about the middle so far for the things I buy. But over all shopping here is always a great experience. Will recommend this place 100%

THEY ARE OPEN ON SATURDAYS! It has saved me on multiple occasions.

Awesome store, with TONS of raw stone options. Staff was super super friendly, and helpful. Prices are great for even the marble.
