I worked with John and Tom to renovate my bathroom. This was my first renovation and the space looks beautiful. I had interviewed so many other contractors and even started trying to work with those other companies but it just felt like they would agree to do the project and then **silence**. I never had that back and forth with FKGC from the start they were ready and committed themselves to being super engaged and attentive during the process and truly stayed on the ball throughout the entirety of the work (even until the very end when there was random odds and ends to finish up). I was consistently impressed with how responsive both John and Tom were, which especially when doing this kind of work is SO helpful.
I appreciated that when I needed advice they were super open and willing to share their expertise and ideas. They have suggestions for where to shop for tile, source cabinetry and everything else you could need for a bathroom. SO helpful! Their team is always ready to go first thing in the morning and very professional. I can't say enough wonderful things about them!
We highly recommend FK General Contracting. They are very reliable and professional. Their crews are respectful of building rules and restrictions. Very fine workmanship. They have done several renovation jobs for us in the past and we anticipate hiring them for more projects in the future!

I found FK General Contractors during our first apartment purchase in New York City. FK had been highly recommended by one of my closest friends and they did not disappoint. Despite an ever-shifting closing date, design indecision on my part, and nearing holidays, FK managed to take it all in stride. They provided me with options, a clear and detailed estimate, and responsive service.
FK's reputation is solid on the Upper West Side. Their professional experience with New York City buildings and structures of all types is vast. A little research into my building's history gave me some ideas, which I shared with John Emilio and his colleague Tom Vicentini. FK ended up adding molding to my walls, repainting the whole apartment, and sanding the stain off the old floors, which gave new life to this century-old apartment. I certainly couldn't have done it without them and look forward to working with them again.

FKG did a great job on our place! We weren't doing anything too crazy (just painting and building some shelves in 2 closets), however they got everything done quickly and effectively. They were also always on time in the AM, and did a great job of protecting the floors/furniture which I appreciated. Place looks beautiful and well worth the renovation budget. Thank you again!

We were thrilled with the renovations in our apartment. FK had a lot of work to do, with bathrooms, an entirely new kitchen, fixtures all through the apartment, and more. It came out really beautifully and they have always been attentive to questions and issues as they arise. I highly recommend them!
