I hired Figlia & Sons to replace a window air conditioner at my daughter’s apartment in Manhattan. She’s a 22 year old NYU student and she knows nothing about this sort of thing. They couldn’t have sent a nicer guy to do the replacement. My daughter face-timed me at the end of the job and the installer showed me exactly what he had done and asked me if I approved. As an owner of a construction company I was very impressed with the quality of the installation and the timely service. As a dad I was very grateful for the courtesy of the gentleman that they sent to do it.

I bought four HVAC heat pump units for my appointment a few years ago. One of the units was defective and the company only wanted to send a repairman in this new unit. Only at the insistence of my super ( who had referred almost all the shareholders use them for purchasing and installing new units) , did they replace the units,

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
I have never written a review but I felt the need to make sure to warn others about how horrible my experience was with this company. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Firstly, they were extremely unresponsive, took my credit card information, and forgot to book my appointment 3 times despite discussing a date and time they would need to come. After unnecessary back and forth for a month, they finally sent someone to repair the A/C. No surprise, they were supposed to come at 11am and they showed up at 1:45pm. Not only were they late, but they also only "repaired" one of the units despite requesting all the units in the apartment. Their excuse.... "we have 4 other apartments to do and don't have enough time". The one ac they claimed to "repair", started back making noise 20 minutes after they left which was not only a waste of my time but my money as well.
When I reached out to the company to follow up on the problem still existing, I was told I would be called back to discuss a refund. As expected, radio silence for a week. I was forced to call YET AGAIN in which an extremely rude man refused to refund me and wanted to charge me MORE money to send more of their staff to "fix the problem". When I politely said I would prefer to take my money somewhere else and get the refund as I was disappointed in the service, he cut me off and HUNG UP ON ME. They are extremely rude, unresponsive, and overall don't care for their customers.

My Grandmother had a good experience with this company. She had them install a new Friedrich ‘Kuhl’ 35,000 BTU air conditioner in her loft. Professional and friendly service and good quality workmanship.
