So amazing. Paulina created a beautiful design that matched our aesthetic, and then Betsy's team executed to perfection. It is shockingly affordable and provides unbelievable value, especially in NYC, where a well-done apartment often sells for 100k+ more. When accounting for their discounts, we saved money and got a professional design and implementation team. I thought designing a place myself was fiscally responsible but now i'm understanding this is the most optimal route

We had such a great experience with Affordable Interior Design! For years, we had been using our sunroom as our children’s playroom, but now that our kids have gotten older, it was time for a change. The designers at Affordable Interior Design worked with us to create the perfect sunroom—a relaxing, light-filled sanctuary that’s all grown up (while at the same time welcoming for our older children). Thank you, Affordable Interior Design!

We engaged Affordable Interior Design and their service has been exceptional. We worked with designer, Angela, who has made our home beautiful, much more enjoyable and is a pleasure to work with. Becky from the shopping service and Steffani from customer support provided exceptional service. I highly recommend this company.

Loved working with my designer, Anita. She was upbeat, creative and very thorough. She was able to build around three existing pieces of furniture to keep within my budget and created a completely different look! I highly recommend.

The staff is nice, but the interior designer I was assigned to wasn't able to get it done...she's not based where I reside (I live in NYC), so I found out the hard way she wasn't familiar with what could/couldn't happen with apartments in my area, plus, she wasn't familiar with the parameters for which the handyman services (provided by AID) could actually help with certain tasks. I was told to make calls to a couple of companies we agreed to use in order to complete the project and ask design-specific questions...which I couldn't understand (especially since it was for companies AID has trade discounts for; I imagined making those type of calls were part of the package I paid for, but apparently I was wrong). Ultimately, I was sold a dream on a concept that couldn't happen (after the initial disappointment from the first reveal call because she didn't focus on what I explained was my design style). I tried to hang in there for an alternative solution for as long as I could, but between the design fee, and a few items I purchased off the curated shopping list which the designer sourced for my project, I'd already spent thousands of dollars...for nothing; I had to stop before it got worse, because I'm disabled with a budget to stick to, and I could only see things continuing in a downward spiral. As I stated in the beginning of this long review...at least she was pleasant. Nevertheless, this experience was a waste of both my time and money. Based on these other reviews from the highly-satisfied, perhaps I simply didn't have the right designer for my needs. Ps Response time (which is primarily through email) isn't the best). If I needed to speak with my designer because of how frustrating the email response time was, I had to pay additional money.
