Had my boyfriend call to get a quote cause our ceiling had started sagging and wanted to get it fixed ASAP.
He spoke to James about getting everything set up. Kept getting interrupted while trying to explain the situation as well. Thought it was going well when he said everything sounds good, that was until he got offended because he hesitated on answering him back. Was pretty insecure of a response to be fair.
After which, he started berating him, making remarks like "You don't know much about drywall do you?" and "Maybe you're not worth our time" and before I knew it he hung up. Terrible experience for just a simple quote. Do as I did and avoid working with them.
Called on a small job, bath and kitchen ceiling patch. Showed up to bid in 30 mins and started job next day
Price was fair
Professional finish and found a few issues I missed
Really nice owner and employees
Will recommend and use again on a few other projects
I hate trying to drywall and they made my renovation easy

Highly recommend this company. Our 100 year old house had plaster ceilings that were starting to fail. James came out and completed an assessment and quote for repair. The whole process from quoting to work completed was easy and James was very honest and up front with my options, which I appreciated. The showed up when they said they would and did a fantastic job repairing my ceiling. Again, I highly recommend giving them a call!

Our DIY kitchen renovation was at a standstill because we were dreading hanging and finishing drywall. We decided to contact a few contractors to get bids for the work. Rubber City was not the lowest bid, but their timeliness and professionalism made us choose them.
On the first day of the job, Wednesday, James was out with a crew of 5 to get great momentum on the work. They finished early on Friday, even though we didn’t expect it to be done until Saturday or even Monday. The crew were all thoughtful, respectful, professional, and did excellent work.
This is the drywall company you want to hire! We will definitely call them again when it’s time to renovate our bathrooms.

They are very professional. Arrived when they said they would. Repaired our drywall in several areas through out our home. They also repaired a crack in our textured ceiling between our front room and kitchen. They did an excellent job! We can’t see where the crack was and they also matched the texture we have on our ceilings. They did not leave a mess when the job was finished. We will recommend Rubber City Drywall to anyone who needs drywall work done because we are very happy with the quality of their work they did for us and their professionalism. We will call them again for all our drywall needs.

From my first conversation with James to the work being completed by Steve, I was impressed at their no-nonsense approach to completing my project with speed, efficiency and quality work.
We needed wall repairs done to a large area where the drywall had ripped after removing decades-old wallpaper. Rubber City did the job quickly and we are so happy with the finished product!

James had delivered the drywall on a Thursday and told us someone would be out the following week to install it, which was perfectly fine. Well much to our surprise, someone (Jeff I believe his name was) was out that Saturday morning. He told us multiple times how much he loved his job and that he took lots of pride in it, and it definitely showed. It was so nice to have someone who cared about the quality work he did! He was also super nice and it felt like we had someone from our own family here.
The finisher (didn't catch his name, sorry!) was equally as great. It definitely shows that he took his time in finishing this task. He was also very nice and showed up on time every time he was here. He also did a great job in cleaning up the mess.
This company was hired by my contractor but I am definitely saving the number for future projects, and will be recommending to everyone!

These guys are the best of the best. They came out to remove and replace drywall due to a waterproofing issue we had. They were prompt, on time, and got the job done quickly. They accommodated my schedule and did such a professional job. I even had them do another small project for me and they did fabulous. Its hard to always find someone to do solid work but these guys knocked it out of the park. They were considerate and treated my home like it was their own. James got back to me very quickly and answered all my questions and concerns. I cant even tell where the drywall was cut or repaired. Absolutely fantastic. I love dealing with local companies and if I ever need anyone for drywall again these are the only guys ill use! I would recommend them to anyone. So excited to have my basement back and looking good! Thanks again crew, you did such an amazing job for us!!!

James was a life saver. My house was being remodeled and painted. I had holes in my wall that needed repaired first and My painter was already scheduled to come in. A previous drywaller told me he would do the job but then with no notice he decided not to do it and left me stranded. I called James. He and his father said they could do the job but they were booked for 3 weeks. I could not wait because the painter could not changed his schedule. I told James about this and he went out of his way to come over on a Sunday. A day he usually does not work but he knew I needed help and he helped. He not only helped but he gave me a great price. He did a great job. He explained he would have a hard time matching my ceiling. However it was close to perfect. I highly recommend James. Dependable, reasonable and great work. He gets all my work.
