Taylor replaced the convertible top on an old BMW for me. Another shop had quoted a lower price, but Taylor justified his slightly higher price by going into some of the fine points of the job. Earlier I had researched doing it myself and realized I didn't have the skill or patience, so when I hear Taylor mention specifics, I knew for a fact that he had worked on one of these tops before, and figured I would be better off hiring a person with proven experience. The only negative points might be that this is a small one-man operation, so don't try to schedule anything at the last minute. You might also pay a little more here, but you should be pleased with the workmanship.
