Can't even begin to tell you , how happy we are, with our new patio!! The crew were GREAT! Job was completed quicker then we thought. On time every day. Great quality work. Highly recommend The Concrete Guys.
Why 1 star? I read their reviews, had them come out, liked the supervisor, and discussed the project on site.
Later that day I sent an email outlining everything we discussed.
It took a while to get the proposal from them but everyone actually working nowadays is busy, no big deal. It was a little plain so I rehashed our previous discussions in my reply.
It took me a few weeks to get everything straightened out with the city. Then contacted them and we were ready to go. This was August 21st, they were scheduled to start October 2nd.
October 2nd, they show up on time and guys seem great. But problem! In spite of in person and email conversations they did NOT know what they were supposed to be doing – they had forgotten an important part that was sent in writing multiple times.
So, they close down the job, say they’ll get me options. It took TWO WEEKS to get 2 options, the *cheapest* of which was $10k more than the original agreement. When I asked for the ‘plain’ option – very similar to the existing plan – I was strung along, and am now ghosted.
NO return calls.
After 3 weeks this late into the building season wasted.
Now I’m holding a useless building permit with deposits on the building the concrete was for, and a perhaps shredded budget thanks to their issues.
I need to start from scratch with concrete plans and it’s super unlikely I’ll have it this year.
This is documented.
So, if you still go ahead and use them after reading this, at least make sure you have a backup ready to go.

I had three concrete steps to my front door and the right side head sunk almost 2 in so they came out and drilled holes and several different places and use something like mud jack to lift but after they left I looked at the right side and it had not lifted so I called them to ask to come back out they said they did the best they could and I called again and sent pictures that what I needed leveled it was not done so they told me my steps are prefab not solid concrete and they don't work on prefab steps so I said with them why did you come out and do what you did and take my money without telling me that first so then they got annoyed with me and said when we're back in your area will stop and take a look to see what we can do but that was over a month ago and I have heard or seen no one since but of course I'm very disappointed that my steps are the same as they were originally after paying out hundreds of dollars to this company just to ignore me

We just had our parking pad, front walk, and small side walk replaced by the Concrete Guys. First off, Madison was super responsive and just a pleasure to work with in their office. She kept me updated on when the crews would be out to work and did a great job relaying any information we needed.
The crews who came out and did the demo of our old concrete and installed the new concrete were extremely professional and their work was done in a timely manner. The end result looks great and we are very happy with how everything turned out.
Overall very happy and would have them back if we need more work in the future. I would recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done.

I had a great experience with The Concrete Guys! They did an awesome job on my new stamped patio. I would recommend them to all my friends and family!

I hired The Concrete Guys (TCG) to extend my driveway and add a stamped patio (colored to match deck). Without my knowledge, Jim (TCG) outsourced the job in its entirety to another company. I only found out after they were calling me asking if they could change the dimensions. It took multiple emails and texts to TCG to get a response. Long story short, Jim (TCG) never showed up as promised and the concrete was poured (after I had to physically spray paint the correct dimensions on the area). The subs, were complaining about TCG half the time. When completed a few days later, I found the color match sprayed on my house (not removeable) and my deck. They also sprayed hi-gloss sealant partially on my driveway pad and sealed in dirt. And last but not least, they removed pavers they were not supposed to and did not install them back correctly. None the less, Jim (TCG) showed up for his check, and I showed him the damage. After a promise of fixing, yep, no shows again this weekend. Absolutely disgusted and my poor wife is sick when she looks at the damage to the house (just had it professionally repainted last year). I am working with the city council and legal to see what I can do at this point.
