Ryan did an awesome job with our dryer outlet. They responded promptly and explained everything super well. Everything was done same day and super fast. We will definitely recommend Ryan and Mr. Electric!

First off, my latest electrician was the only good experience of this entire fiasco. I had three ceiling fans and an attic fan installed a month ago. The electrician that initially came out somehow used all of my fiancée’s bath and bodyworks hand soap. After installation was complete, I went back up to the attic a few days later to check on it because the house had gotten hot, and found that the fan was not working. I call Mr. Electric and they put me back in touch with the tech, and he recommends I climb in the attic to check it and see if the thermostat is set properly. It was, and the fan was not working. Finally after getting an appointment set, I work from home on 7/2/2024 only for them to not show up. The manager comes out three days later on 7/5/2024, and tells me that the old tech installed the attic fan right to the mesh, which got sucked in and burned the fan out - which could have caused a house fire. He then tells me he’s having another electrician come out with a new fan to replace it in approximately an hour and a half. The other guy, Connor, gets there about three hours later with the stuff and gets to work. Super great guy. Really enjoyed him. He walked into an absolute mess and did his best to clean it up, especially considering he had to somehow get the fan out after the original tech stripped the bolts holding the attic fan to the wall. Three hours later he wraps up, and Informs me the original tech that Installed my ceiling fans a month prior used an improper box and my fan has basically just been dangling for a month of continued use. So they have to put a second recall ticket to come back out to fix the fan issue, which means I’m going to have to figure out another day to work from home, which will now be four appointments to have these fans fixed and safe, five if you include one no show. 12 hours later today on 7/6/2024, I walk into my front room under the attic fan and notice my trim had a separation line crack, nails are popped from the ceiling by a ceiling fan that was installed there as well, along with a piece of ceiling trim bowing. (See Photos) Simple fixes, but just more headaches to add to the mess. If you’re thinking about using this company, I would strongly encourage you to do research on other companies and make the best informed decision possible. I won’t use them again once this is finally wrapped up.

We called Mr. Electric to fix a GFCI receptacle located in our pond. Brandon came out very quickly and took a look. He had the problem fixed in no time. He took four pictures which he sent with the invoice. During the time he was here to get payment information, there was a problem with the credit card. He was VERY patient, and did all he could to help with the problem. Brandon apologized to me even though it was our card that caused the problem. He is a very nice and very professional young man! I would definitely recommend Mr. Electric.

James is very professional and knows what he is doing. He came to install a large chandelier in our two story great room, and he did such an amazing job. Our chandelier was heavy and needed a 2x2 for support, James went out of his way to make it happen. We are very happy with the job and customer service experience (:

Our technician Tyler was very helpful, informative, and patient as we discussed various options for running electric to mount TV above the fireplace. He explained everything very clearly and was professional every step of the way. Pricing was very reasonable and came with a warranty on the work. I had constant communication from Mr. Electric via text and call in the days leading up to, and on the days of my quote and service. I like that the company checked in with me via phone call every hour to let me know my “place in line” status. I will contact Mr. Electric for any future projects.

Electrician (Scott) was friendly, on time and identified the problem really quickly. He was clear about what the issue was and how much it would cost. Also was patient and helpful when we called about my home warranty coverage. The only reason I’d give a 4 star versus 5 is because when I’d initially called to set up an appointment the employee on the phone mentioned a “free estimate”. I should’ve asked for them to clarify that… because all the other electricians I called mentioned a charge for coming out to your home up front (and because nothing’s ever free). Right off the bat you have to sign and agree to pay for them to run diagnostics. I’m guessing that if they’re already at your house, they’re banking on you not sending them away because you just want the issue fixed. So if you call, just be sure to ask about ALL the charges up front for them to come and assess the situation. Overall a great experience with the tech who came to my house. Just wasn’t happy about the initial communication.

An IMPECCABLE EXPERIENCE : I built a new steel garage on my property in July 2023 & needed electric service to install a garage door opener & lighting. I got 5 different estimates. Mr. Electric quoted 6 different options I could use. I contacted Columbus Zoning dept for the application that best served the codes for my area & scheduled the installation. They showed up on time, it was a 3 day job. Tyler Brown was the service technician assigned to the project. His work was first rate, explanations & information regarding the process phenomenal & his customer service exceeded his young age years. On 9/11/23 the city inspector arrived & lauded the quality of the work signing off on the installation. The only negative aspect to this job was one of the now former employees indicated I should've been charged more for the size of the project. I brought the inappropriate comment to Tyler's attention. He went to his manager & the individual was relieved of his duties. As of 9/12/2023 my overall experience w/ Mr. Electric & Tyler Browns was impeccable.
