Our garage door sensor was broken and we left a message that evening with AE door company. They called us back first thing the next morning and had a repair man out that day. The young man who came out was very nice, showed up early for the appointment And quickly diagnosed the problem. He offered a quick, more temporary fix and a replacement. So far, five stars. The problem came with the bill. They charged us $190 for a 20 minute service call. This was when we paid by check. To put it on a credit card would have been an additional 2%. This was all for a repair that consisted of duct taping our sensor back in place. 20 minutes start to finish. There was no mention of the high cost of showing up when we scheduled the appointment. I most certainly would have shopped around for price if I had known it was going to be $190. Since then, I have spoken to several friends and neighbors, and they have given me referrals to companies who would be much less expensive. I will be using them in the future.

I've been a customer for 15-20 years and can say they did a great job servicing the old openers. Today, I had a new system installed. Tim was able to do both doors in one morning and everything is working great. He and the other service guy that worked with us are very long on experience. But I must call out A&E's ability to setup my doors for remote access. They don't do that. It's up to the customer. On the first attempt by me, the process failed. The only support I got was that I got an 800 number for liftmaster.

I anticipated it would need replaced, but the AE Door technician had it working well again in under 30 minutes and the damage is now almost unnoticeable. It was a much better outcome than I expected and I’m grateful for the skill of the AE Door representative to fix this for us. Communication was top notch as well.

I chose AE because I've seen their trucks with the picture of the "girls" picture on it since they were little (grown women now of course) so I knew they had been in business a long time and that spells reliability to me. And I'm glad I did. I replaced my garage door opener. The transaction was all done by phone. My technician had a job in Dayton but still came to do my job, tired, and late in the afternoon. He installed it and programmed it for me. I highly recommend AE Door & Window. My technician was thorough and I love the whisper quite garage opener

They came when they said they would. Did what they said they would do. I had other estimates and they were far below others who were less professional. My house was built in the 1940's. I now have a door that keeps the weather out and opens without being prayed over.
