We had three cracks in our driveway after a truck delivering shingles drove of the drive way and cracked three spots. I had three different contractors come out last year and none ever came back after giving me a quote. I followed up with one contractor this year. He just kept pushing back the date. I contacted Matthew Gaddis by email and he came out and gave us advice on what needed repaired and the best solutions. They came out this week as scheduled and did the job. EXCELLENT WORK. Everything was done correctly and we were kept informed. Monday was remove old concrete, Tuesday was pour and today was cleanup. The job looks great, finally we found a great concrete company. Thank you Gaddis and Son

Gaddis and Sons did great work on our new driveway. They were very responsive from the beginning, even when I reached out asking for an estimate right around the beginning of the stay at home orders. The quote for our project was fair compared to other companies in the Columbus area. Matt always responded to my emails within 24 hours, the quote was sent me to me in a timely fashion and they made sure to keep me updated on when they planned to start work on our driveway. They showed up early and on time. The crew was respectful of my property. It took them 2 days to remove our old concrete and install the concrete for a 2 car driveway, 4 sidewalks and the apron. The clean up was great! They provided top soil and cones to block traffic on the sidewalk and driveway. When we got unexpected winter weather this spring, they came back and covered the new concrete from frost exposure. I am happy with our choice and would use their services again!

We are very happy with Gaddis & Sons concrete work for our driveway that was completed in Sept. 2019. We had 4 quotes from concrete businesses in Columbus and Gaddis impressed us from the beginning. They met with us to look at the existing driveway and determine our options and we had a quote within a couple of business days. We needed one side of the driveway widened and had an area where water would sit so we needed the grading of the driveway to move the water into our yard. Gaddis was very professional, they were quick but provided good quality work and cleaned up the space afterwards. They also were always on time and completed the driveway in the time promised. And most importantly we are very pleased with our driveway, it looks great and we no longer have standing water! Gaddis also always returned our phone calls and emails within a business day. We were very impressed and would recommend them.

Would use Gaddis again in a heartbeat! Had some "minor" jobs around our whole house and they did a wonderful job. Some of the original layouts were changed and they nailed the execution (e.g. we moved our front sidewalk). All parties that I dealt with were prompt and friendly. Project got done a hair later in the year than I expected; but, the weather dictated that and I was notified asap of any scheduling changes. See some of the before + afters...

Gaddis and Sons completed a difficult concrete project in the midst of a flower garden and pond without causing the loss of one plant. They removed an old concrete slab, dug and poured footers for a new stamped concrete floor for our screened porch. The floor is lovely and turned out even better than we hoped! Throughout this process, Gaddis and Sons owners and employees were professional and easy to work with despite working on many days with a heat index of 100 degrees. The project was completed on time and within budget. We highly recommend Gaddis and Sons!

It was an easy experience working with Gaddis & Sons. We replaced and moved a set of steps on the front of the house and also had them replace the driveway approach. Matthew addressed all my husbands question and concerns. I even discovered Matthew at 6:30AM on the day of the pour outside just double checking that everything was set for the pour at 9AM. I appreciated his dedication to making sure all was right before the truck arrived. They even had to deal with the repaving of our street on the same day as the pour!! All of the members of their team were respectful of our property. I would use them again if we have a project. Demand for concrete work was high so it take a few months to get on the schedule, but it was worth the wait.

Do NOT hire this company for any concrete needs. The entire process from when our project was supposed to happen, to the final result, and everything in between, was a terrible experience. So much money wasted. First, they continued to push our project back, without even informing us. We had to constantly follow up and ask when our concrete resurfacing would take place. They got the owner involved and I was told we are their "first priority" and they would be out the following week. What was supposed to be a TWO day project (so we were told from the original estimate), took SEVEN days. Forcing us to push back other contractors coming to our house. Not to mention, what we were told was part of our estimate, did not actually include all parts of the project. It would be an additional couple hundred dollars, even though Graham told us the day of the estimate, it was part of the quote. Once they finally started on our patio resurfacing, they "finished" it on a Friday, and left it the entire weekend with no sealant on it. During the weekend, multiple stains appeared on it. Apparently, it is not standard protocol for them to "repair" these stains, but did not communicate that to us and they "patched" them up on Monday (I asked for the stains to be fixed before the sealant was put on...but no one communicated that they don't do this, for various reasons). Their patch job was absolutely horrible. Various shades of colors that do not match the rest of the concrete. It literally looks like dark gray footprints throughout our patio. We expressed our concerns, multiple times, to the owner and son, about how terrible it looks and we are not happy at all. By their communications, they clearly did not care how we felt because to them, "they completed their contract". I proceeded to ask the son if he would post pictures of our project on their website, or if he would be happy with this patio in his backyard. Both questions, he gave roundabout answers. Proving my point as to how terrible of a job they did. Even he doesn't want pictures of it on their website to show clients what their projects REALLY turn out to be. When I asked how they would fix this, he said to give it 5 days for the spots to lighten. It's been well past 5 days, and nothing has changed. The entire patio looks way worse. Even dirt from the yard stains it. I again asked what they would do to fix their terrible job, and the son said they could come back and patch again, but that the color would probably be the same. So how is that even a viable solution? He then said "$100 discount". HAH! Are you kidding?! I have multiple phone conversations with the son recorded and would be happy to share with anyone who would like to hear how rude and awful their customer service is. They do not care about their clients. The way he talked to me, proves that. He even hung up on me on one of the calls. We ended up with a $300 discount, from the father/owner. Still, not worth it for how awful our patio looks. We now have to hire another company, and spend thousands of dollars more, to fix their horrible job, or we have to paint the patio. Gaddis & Son should be doing whatever they have to do in their power, to have happy clients, who refer them to others. They do not know what good customer service is, nor do they know how to resurface concrete. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not waste a minute of your time, or a penny from your wallet on them.

These guys did a friend of a friend's driveway. My friend said they did a pretty good job so I called them. After taking off work early to meet with them I received a call about an hour before the appointment asking me to reschedule. I was disappointed but it is what it is and I get being sensitive to other peoples lives and happen stance. The rescheduled appointment was scheduled for the following. This time the person didn't even show up. After calling several times I received the answering service or the phone picked up and hung up. I'm glad it happened this way because we ended up going to a party at the person's house this company had done the work in which I originally learned about the company. The concrete was chipping and popping off everywhere. The owner said he talked to the company once about the problem and then they never answered the phone again. He basically said he got what he paid for and wishes he had gone with another company even though they were higher. Thanks for not showing up to our appointment, I really dodged a bullet.

I was tasked with finding a concrete contractor for some work at our church, St Luke Lutheran in Gahanna. Matt Gaddis was one of only a few that promptly returned my call. We set up a time to meet, discussed the project and shortly thereafter received a quote. We agreed, signed the contract and the work began on time. We needed to install a small sloped area for wheelchairs and people with walkers and the job needed to be completed before Sunday's service. Matt and his dad completed the job on time and at a fair price. We would highly recommend this company for concrete work.
