AMAZING SERVICE!!! I called ahead to see if they had the item I needed and they were able to out it on hold for me. When we went to pick it up Tom was incredibly helpful! I would absolutely recommend this store!!
The only reason I’m giving a star is because the staff is friendly, and I can’t give 0.
The wood has been rushed through the drying process and is so case-hardened that I had to use a pry bar to be able to rip 8/4 maple. I’ve never even had to do that with box store lumber.
The picture without the pry bar is after starting the cut over three times. That’s how case hardened it is.

I spent a long time looking for a good lumber supplier in and around the city and Wood Werks absolutely delivers. Wonderful selection of domestic and exotic woods, and helpful, friendly staff who do not hover or babysit.

Best store for wood workers from DYI newbies all the way to the professionals. These guys are knowledgeable and resourceful. Bought from them many times in person and online. Very trustworthy team. I am grateful to have them in town

This is hands down the best wood working store in the US. They have an amazing sales team that is responsive, helpful, and treats you like a customer, not just another number. So far I have only done phone, internet and orders via e-mail. My orders via e-mail is almost as promptly responded to as walking in the door. While their web page is a little difficult to navigate and could use a bit of reorganization, the rest of this company makes up for it 10 fold.
