Not a professional company, did not communicate throughout the whole process other than when to collect their checks. Never showed up at times given was always late, I don't have faith the roof was done correctly. Definitely look for another company if you want someone to be reliable, and communicate through the process.
Update 12/11/23 The company called me today offered $250 for me to "amend" my review which makes me wonder about the other reviews on here.
I just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Tanner Weaver, knocking the whole new roof process out of the park for my family and I. He took the time to help call and make the claim, get the check sent to the right place, and from there we did next to nothing and the roof was done! What could have been a terrible experience for many home owners, was a breeze. HIGHLY recommend Tanner Weaver and Best Choise Roofing!!??

Tanner with Best Choice Roofing took great care of us, a true professional. Following severe weather in 2023, Tanner inspected all my investment properties, and discovered three suffered significant damage. He also photo documented my other properties in case of future damages for additional insurance claims. He made the process easy and seamless, dealing with the insurance agent and forwarded documentation as needed. This ensured timely payments from the insurance company to issue full payment to Best Choice Roofing. The process was painless because of Tanner and his help. He was hands on with his crews, constantly keeping us informed on progression through text messaging and pre/post photos. Their work is top notch. Tanner routinely went back to the job sites, even after the jobs were completed, to address any small punch out items noticed by the tenants. He was also proactive informing of us of any non-related maintenance issues that needed to be addressed by our management company. Despite delays related to insurance adjusters, weather, and/or special order materials, Tanner made sure the jobs were moving forward to completion, and consistently informed us along the way. I will be using Tanner and his team again for our next roofing needs. Be confident with Tanner as your advocate and the process with him.

Had roof replaced. Looks good but since I'm not a roofer I do not know If correct?
Communication from start til even now has not been good
Nothing in original invoice that said would be charged $75 for additional OSB board. Was told might need a few boards and should be 500 or 600. Was told 4 included in invoice, altho not stated in invoice
. Then got bill for over $2000 after I told the salesman I didn't have extra thousands. Said I could finance and, after the fact was told had 4 months to pay it off
Roof finished. Clean up wasn't great. Instead of dumpster, used a trailer and now have big rut in my yard. Was told, like 2 weeks ago, they would bring dirt and fill it in, that has not happened.
Came to agreement to take 200 off if paid cash. It has been paid. Asked for original and extra invoices showing "paid in full" and havent gotten that. Asked for receipts showing they purchased additional 30 OSB boards, haven't gotten that. Was told had pictures showing what they used, haven't gotten that. Needless to say, my first experience with a roofing contractor has not been great
The communication was nonexistent and I still don't have what was discussed
Been two weeks. Got my rut filled up with topsoil, but no other contact, and no invoices or receipts. How hard is sending paperwork?

Let me first say that the quality of the metal roof that I have looks beautiful and I will add pictures to show. I gave two stars versus one star only because of the quality of work done. I would say that if you don't mind being charged for things that are not delivered based on the design, told multiple times. false information, no deadlines, this company is for you
I initially started with them in August and my HOA said they needed proof that they had a valid permit. They said that they would approve them doing the work with a valid permit. It then proceeded to take multiple weeks for them to get the permit, although they continued to tell me it was approved.
Once it was finally were approved. they said they ordered the, and I found out that was not true because a few weeks later they said they had miss estimated and in order to get the material they had to charge me 10% more. Although I went against my better judgment, Seth, the sales guy was extremely kind, professional and I really wanted to have faith that the company would be what Seth appeared to be.
The materials did not arrive until mid October and I was told that the team would be there 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning to get started. 7:00 a.m. came and went and the production manager; I won't say his name because he was literally the worst; however, in person a very kind man; but zero communication skills. zero follow through, and zero customer focus.
They finally got there on Tuesday and started the work. I was told it would be a couple of days...not. I told later that they were then at half staff and a few days turned into over a week. The crew made such a tremendous mess that paper and soot continue to blow through my neighborhood and into my neighbor's yards. so much that someone complained to the HOA and I was told I would be fined if it continued.
Guess who was out there picking up paper from neighbor's yards, not the crew but me, until they saw me and then they proceeded to try to help a little bit. Had I known that they were understaffed, perhaps I would have been a little more understanding; but at the same time they should have had someone cleaning up because I was cleaning up mess that had blown seven houses down.
Next, I would love to say the work is done, but it's not. They received payment because I paid half cash and the other half financed. I gave them my complete payment because there were smaller things left to do and said I would not sign off that the job is complete until the work was done, they process the paperwork like I signed off but I never had, needless to say, I was told they would be back on Thursday after they finish the bulk of the work on Tuesday; they never came. Then I was told they would come on Friday, they never did. Then I called the owner who called the general manager and he called me and promised me that the work would be done today and that the crew would be there at 9:00 a.m.. well, it is almost 1:00 p.m. the crew never showed and the general manager has not responded to any of my communications. The production manager responded and said they think they can get there between 3:00 and 4:00. again getting the run around but they didn't have a problem cashing my check.
I sent a communication to the owner and have still not heard anything. if you want to deal with a professional company that honors its word, honors deadlines and gives you what you pay for, then this is NOT the company for you. If you don't care about deadlines, getting exactly what you paid for, no honor and unprofessional but amazing end result , then this is exactly the company for you.
I can honestly say that if I had to rate the quality of the roof. it would be almost five star, if I had to rate the sales guy, it would be four star; if I had to rate everything else it would be zero to one star.
The pictures show the beautiful final result but also the outstanding work that I'm still waiting to be completed...?

We recently had to have our roof repaired due to storm damage and went with Best Choice Roofing after shopping around for contractors. We had Carter from Best Choice be our point of contact and communication was easy and excellent. The process and results were both great! Everything was straight forward and they completed the roof in a very timely fashion. I would recommend this company for anyone looking for roofing repair.

I needed to repair or replace my roof due to age and recent wind damage. I normally chase off salespeople at my door, but Dan picked a good time to drop by. Dan closed the sale with me in 15 minutes by being genuine, polite and knowledgeable. Best Choice Roofing provided an awesome-looking roof on my house using high-quality materials. The job included matching shingles on my shed, all at a price that seemed more than reasonable to me.
Carlos and the installation crew were very hard-working and capable, as evidenced my how nice my roof looks from the curb. They protected my landscaping well during installation, and did a thorough clean-up afterward. Tanner supervised the installation and seemed to go out of his way to ensure that I was satisfied with the final product.
I have no complaints. Nice to have another quality choice for roofing services here in Columbus.

My experience with Best Choice Roofing Ohio was incredible. There office is full of great hard working people Dan, Tanner and Tammy are great! Everyone truly cares about the customer experience and satisfaction. Tanner was there for my family every step of the way. From the initial free inspection, filing the claim, and being present during the adjuster meeting working along side my insurance to address the wind and hail damage leading to a full approval. Tanners P.M skills are phenomenal. Everything from site logistics, scheduling, communication and precise material calculations along side a great crew that is early and on time and does great work! If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would, they were great to work with. From the start they were very professional, and communication was always excellent. Jackson was my main contact, Tanner was the jobsite point man, Tammy was in the office, and they were all great at their jobs. Their prices were better than others I received and that was using the best products available. I was concerned about the installation beforehand as I had a large roof with a complex structure but the crew that installed my new roof was absolutely amazing and could not have done a better job. Everything down to the last detail including cleanup was awesome!!! I would definitely recommend this company.
