I first gave a 5 star review. That was for effort from the first technician. But after he left i quickly realized that there were a few things off. First of all. When contacting several garage door companies in our area. I made it very clear that I needed the full amount of clearance that my door would allow to get my trailer in and out without causing any damage. I was told by the salesman that came out. That it would be no problem to do. I tried to make the process as smooth as possible for the technician. I rebuilt the framing around the door. Removed the old door for him. Had a scraper take the old door. When he arrived I could tell something was wrong. He said. You need low clearance tracks. And that’s not what was ordered. He made a call and someone went and picked up tracks. The tech said that it was from another company. And that he had to modify them in order to work. After installing the door. It was almost 3 inches lower than the spacing for the doorway. He broke the trim while installing. The door didn’t sit right in the track and wasn’t tight against the opening leaving a gap at the top of the door. I could tell he was frustrated and was ready to go. I tipped him $100 for his effort. And we agreed that they would be back out to fix whatever the door needed to be correct. A few weeks went bye and I called the company to get someone out. At this point the door was getting jammed while closing causing the door to go back up 3/4 of the way down. Another tech was sent out. To see about the height. And to adjust the door and replace the trim. He told me that the door couldn’t go up any higher. And replaced the trim. Never adjusted the door. Which still has to much tension 3/4 of the down. And sometimes goes back up on its own. He left. I had them back out another time. This is probably 6 to 8 weeks after the original installation date. The tech that came out the second time returned. He first stated that nothing else could be done. After telling him I had two other companies out and what their findings were. He then agreed. That the wrong track was used. That tension springs would allow the door to go up nearly 6 inches. That there was another opener that could have been used. And that the track from the other manufacturer was indeed the reason we were restricted/having problems. This was before the new year. I still have not heard from anyone from the company. Not an apology. A follow up on how things went. A date to fix the door. All in all. It has not been a pleasant experience.

We had a broken spring in our garage door. I called on a Friday about noon and was told they could come out on Saturday. By 8:05 on Saturday morning they called to say they would be coming soon. By 9:30 we had 2 new springs and were “good to go.” Lance was prompt, polite and had the door fixed very quickly.

I had a 17ft wide overhead door and motor installed in my 100 year-old garage by Cincinnati Door and Window, and they did a fabulous job. They had to modify some things because of the low clearance and age of the garage, but they made it happen. I’ve asked them come out to address two things that have occurred with my garage and they’ve handled both items very professionally and expeditiously. It is difficult to trust people to do quality work on your house/garage, but this company has impressed me.
