I am absolutely thrilled to share my exceptional experience with Vouis Carpentry and the outstanding custom stair and railing installation he recently completed in my home. From start to finish, it was a seamless and enjoyable process, and I cannot recommend him enough!
From the very first consultation, it was evident that Joseph is a highly skilled professional who take immense pride in his work. He provided valuable insights to create a design that perfectly complemented the aesthetics of my home. His attention to detail, responsiveness and creativity sets him apart from other contractors.
Once the project started, Joseph displayed a level of expertise and craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. His precision and care he put into every cut, joint, and finishing touch were remarkable. It is evident that he is dedicated to delivering nothing less than perfection.
Throughout the installation process, he maintained a clean and organized work environment, which I greatly appreciated. He treated my home with respect, and his professionalism was evident at every step. His communication and timeliness on the project was exceptional - he said what he was going to do, the time it would take and then completed it. He said it would take a week, and he completed the project in a week.
I am so pleased with the results! The custom stairs and cable railings he installed are not only structurally sound but also a stunning focal point in my home. The attention to detail and the high-quality materials used are apparent in every aspect of the work.

Joseph was very easy to work with, very very fast, and did a great job! He upgraded our middle handrail, the rails behind our living area, and the baseboards. (They aren't stained yet as you see in photos, but he knows somebody that can do it for you). Our handrail in our split-level home was completely broken and loose and I recently got knee replacement surgery. It was very hard to get up and down the steps with nothing to hold onto. We had been wanting to an upgrade for awhile, but now it was a necessity. Joseph was able to get in and get it done a couple of days after our request. My elderly mother was also coming into visit as well, so between that and my medical needs, he REALLY helped us out a lot by building a solid structure quickly to use, as well as giving it a total visual update as well that looks outstanding. He also added an extra piece to get the hand rails up to code and be safer (The previous owner made a lot of bad building decisions to flip the house quickly). His prices were fair, affordable, and came in under the other builders we had talked to before as well. Thanks Joseph!

Thanks to Joseph, our new home has a modern touch! The spindles and banisters on our stairs were breaking off or loose. We knew we'd have to replace them for safety.
Joseph made everything easy, from putting together the list of materials to recommending a stainer (who we also loved). And he was fast! Our little project didn't even take the full day.
I really appreciated how communicative Joseph was throughout the process. He always got back to us right away.

Joseph and his brother did a remarkable job remodelling my staircase. I finally got around to staining the stairs after the team completed the project, so I now got some pictures showing the before/after.
Joseph was great to communicate with, and was helpful in coming up with ideas for my stair remodelling, and was able to finish the project in about half a day.
Would recommend Joseph for any upcoming carpentry projects.

Joseph was awesome to work with and did a great job replacing our stair railing, newel posts, and installing cable in place of balusters. His quote was straightforward and he was able to use some material he saw in our basement, saving us money on materials. The stairs are exactly what we asked for based on the pictures we sent, and he did a great job of asking questions and touching base throughout the project to make sure we were happy with the result. I love the outcome for the price and would definitely recommend him for his work.
