We recently had a lightning strike that did a lot of damage to a lot of things at our house...including our alarm. It's a frustrating experience! But, John (service director) and the alarm experts they sent to take care of it were truly top notch. Alex was especially great and very patiently got us working again. I appreciate the fairness with regard to pricing as many hours were spent to get us working again. That is why we are a long-time customer. you can't beat "fair". So, thanks Advance Alarms!

Misty was very rude and hung up in my face when I questioned why I had been paying for an app for over 3 years. She lied and I hope they record their calls. When they set up service, I did nit request the app, found out today, I was charged over $180. I am waiting to see what they do, but they should never hang up in a customers face. I wasn’t rude. I wasn’t yelling. I just asked a simple question. Why am I paying for something when I didn’t request it? I only requested it today just to find out that they’ve been charging me this since I set up service. I don’t look at the bill is automatically paid so I said I if I say I didn’t want something that they wouldn’t put it on my bill.

My power is off right now and nobody has called to notify me. I pay for them to monitor my home but they aren't doing a very good job. I've also had someone trying to break in my house and I did the silent alarm. Nobody called or sent police. I had to call the police myself, be put on hold, then finally someone answered. I will be looking to change my Alarm system soon.

I have had ongoing service for 5 years. I recommended & had great things to say about this company. No more. Without putting my personal life online, the company did not choose to protect me. They took my name off the account, but when asked to change it back, it wasn’t possible. How is it possible for someone to change it out of your name, but impossible to get it back? The account has been paid by my credit card for years. They choose the wrong side & I no longer feel safe with their overwatch. I will say, when we have needed service, the techs are fabulous, professional & friendly. It’s the office/dispatch staff that is terrible & rude.. I recommend going with another company & make sure you are the only person with any administrator privileges.

We had our alarm installed in December of 2023, and it has been nothing but trouble since. We have had 5 different service calls and our alarm still goes off for no reason. The system throws multiple error codes and is currently going off every 5 minutes. This system is a piece of junk. I have had an alarm system with another company for over 20 years and NEVER had any problems. I will never recommend this company.
