Had me update my remote and has never worked since. When we ask them for help they tell
Us to call the mfg of the product. They only sell can’t help with it…. This is just one of many issues we have had with them….
They installed and maintain my Hayward pool equipment, installed a top of line variable speed Hayward main pump for me, as well as efficient gas Hayward heater and pool automation integrated with my iPhone and the system is awesome. Pump is more quiet than they promised it would be (it’s right by my bedroom), heater is on year-round and they respond quickly to any needs, even by text which is so convenient. Responsive, professional, friendly, good value…I’m a very satisfied customer.

UPDATE. 11/15/2023
My pool was finally restored to the right condition. Apparently my maintenance guy, Benjamin, wasn't treating it fully with all the chemicals and salt because he thinks I have a leak. I turned my auto fill valve off for a week and the water level never went down. I am not sure if I am convinced yet and I don't want to spend the amount of money needed to have a leak detection service come out just yet. I will call another company to get a second opinion.
However, I tried to use the hot tub a few weeks ago and the heater would not turn on. I had to wait a week and half for a service visit. Today Kenny and Jonathan came to check it out only to find out that the heater was turned OFF. No one in my family goes back there and they especially would not touch any of the equipment. It had to be someone from Baker. And, it’s not the first time. My filter has been kept off after one of Benjamin’s visits
As a result, I want to clarify that my complaint with Baker is not about the service department because Kenny and Jonathan were awesome. They even backwashed the pump during their visit today, which should have been done by Benjamin during his visit earlier today. My complaint is with maintenance, which lately has been Benjamin. I will most definitely be looking for another company to prove pool maintenance support. And if I ever need a service call, I sure hope that Kenny and Jonathan are available as they are awesome. I really appreciate them spending the time to show me what to look for should this happen again so that I don’t have to pay for an unnecessary service call like I had to today! Thanks Kenny and Jonathan! You are the best! 5 stars just for you!!!!

It is such a beautiful day today. Too bad my pool is filled with Algae (see picture). I pay over $300 a month for maintenance and every time I go to enjoy the pool there is something wrong. Mainly it’s the salt level as the Baker crew doesn’t know how to check the salt levels to determine how much salt needs to be added. I had to put in 8 bags of salt in myself over 2 weeks ago. However, based on how bad the pool looks I don’t think anyone has been here in over a month. I called on Friday and asked Krista Soergel when was the last time someone was here to service the pool. She said she didn’t know because they only submit their tickets at the end of the month (of course they do so that they can process their monthly billing). We are early enough in the month so she could have at least told me the last time they were here in August. I am convinced they haven’t been here since then. She then proceeds to tell me David the service manager is not available and I would have to wait until Monday. Krista is just there to answer phones and take messages. She never has any information to provide and, to make matters worse , she is rude and unprofessional at times. She can very easily be replaced with an automated virtual assistant and could save the business some money. This is just one example of the poor service I have experienced over the past several months. Gary Hasz you really should read your customer reviews if you want your business to continue to grow and succeed. Your company is great at designing and installing pools but very awful in servicing them. If that is your intentional business strategy then shut down your service department and outsource it to another company that takes pride in servicing clients.

It seems that our pool installation was less of a "splash" and more of a "crash". From the get-go, our experience with the pool company has been about as smooth as a belly flop. Now, seven years into our aquatic adventure, we're still doggy-paddling through a sea of issues.
The tiles on the pool sides have developed a rather annoying habit of playing hide and seek, while the coping and decking appear to be practicing their own version of the wave, resulting in a symphony of cracks.
And let's not forget the beach entry, which we thought would be our own little slice of paradise. Instead, it's more like a fault line, constantly cracking under the pressure. If we'd known we were signing up for a geology lesson, we might have reconsidered!
As for customer service, well, let's just say it's been about as refreshing as a dip in the Arctic Ocean. Our calls for help seem to be swallowed up like a small fish in a big pond. Just last week, I reached out about our disappearing tiles. They promised to email me some information, but it seems that email has gone on vacation, because it's certainly not in my inbox.
So, here we are, treading water in a pool of problems, hoping for a life raft from the company that seems to have left us high and dry.

We moved into our Executive Homes new home 4 weeks ago and we love our custom pool and spa built by Baker Pools. It looks exactly like we wanted it to and it is beautiful!
